One of the greatest tech based CZcams channels ever. Been watching for a whole now and you make everything mechanical keyboard simple and easy to follow.
I also really like your editing style and you hunour. One of my favourite channels on the platform 🙏
Incredible sounding keyboard.
Thank you for the great video!
I love your channel!
Built my first keyboard thanks to your videos and research. Keep going and setting the meta!
I have these in a melgeek 68. I love them so much. Replaced the TTC switches that I thought I’d like but didn’t. The sound is so nice and the feel is great. Literally the only two switches I have tried but I’m hooked.
Thanks for the great video and your time on this
i can see your stab tuning has become better and better, good job 👍
friendship ended with tealios
now durock L series is my best friend
all jwk is basically a replacement of zeal switches (because they are actually same switches because durock remade tealios non legally and then made it legal and cheaper, read stealios controversy). I tried two versions official and not - they are actually same, if there are differences those are negligibal. It was not nice move of jwk, but zeal overpricing switches is not super nice too, so yeah
@@Donbros So the L7s are basically Tealios?
@@meemattt they should be really similar. I think jwk switches with new materials may be different, but those transparent recolors should be super similar. It is like tealios deritatives with changes
@@Donbros I see I see. Glad to hear then, I could definitely try some L7s to save a little bit. I want Tealios', but they are just so expensive.
And your 2nd statement, would that mean a Durock T1 is a Zealios V2 clone?
@@meemattt I have both Zealios v2 and T1's and they are very similar but there is a difference on the followthrough after the bump which both start at the top. Personally I prefer the Zealios, especially because I live in Canada, so shipping for Zealios are cheaper for me because Zeal is Canadian, and once I get T1's shipped here they're about the same price at the end of the day. The T1's are VERY good, and if you can get them for a good price I'd say go for it, but there is something special about the Zealios that the T1 doesn't QUITE match.
congratz on 300k

Congrats on 300k, also can you do more keyboard builds?
These videos are SO well done. It's mind-blowing considering that, in the grand scheme of things, you don't have a lot of subs
Hey Hamaji! i love you videos keep up the great work
This is a great overview of Tealios, but is also a great comparison of a good linear lubed vs un-lubed in general. A+ my dude.
“Pop sound” that’s exactly what it is. I’ve been trying to decide how to describe the sound of them and Pop is spot on. Love me some zeal pc switches but you are exactly right they are not worth $1 a switch. But if you can get them on sale like I did go for it.

It's fine for me, my daily driver has 36 keys so it's not too much to cover a board although I do admit they are too much for what you are getting

Thanks a lot, I was thinking of buying the tealios switches before I watched this video. I think now I am going with the Durock L Series.
these are my favourites for pop and higher pitch and also has a satisfying bottom out feel and super smooth.
ayo, can we talk about the presentation in the beginning of the vid??? that was clean asf
I daily drive the zealios, and these points def hold for those too. they are great once lubed and filmed and feel and sound really great. but they were def pricey and i'd try other switches before buying these again
Amazing work! Hamaji Neo, he deserves more views and Subs for his work and AMAZING quality videos!
i have a stock keyboard i think customs is nice but would never spend so much money on a keybourd when i need new things for my setup love your vids hope you hit half a mil in the near future😁
If every one of your videos has this type of quality, I wouldn’t mind waiting 2 months for each video.
Just the video I needed!
I prefer tactile but man the sound of lubed linears is... amazing. I may have to try some.
just bought them so excited!
this is my all time favorite sounding switch - !! IMHO
Thanks for comparing Lubed vs Unlubed !
Could we PLEASE get a review of those Durock L Series Linears?
Man i've got both the Tiffany Dunk High's and Low's, i've been looking at ordering these switches...Defiantly going to take a few photos with them LOL

Tactile and clickies sucks when you still follow cherry design. Even if zeealios is better. If you want tactile and clicky to not suck you need to get away from it not try to just do better. The clicky kailh's boxes got the right idea for example. But we can and should do even better9
@@magusperde365 wdym, bruh have u ever even tried zealios or holy pandas, or gazzew bobas
Can you do holy pandas next :D
And congrats on 300k subs !
Im pretty confident that if you want a smoothness comparable to tealios its better to get the black inks, they are also made by gateron, and are cheaper while still high end
You should do a blind/use the same board+keycaps sound/feel comparison with lubed gat yellows vs lubed tealios
Hey Hamaji. Your keyboard reviews are so informational. Care to do a Everglide V3 water king review?
Mx blue. Lubed. O-rings. Sound test
Good job on 300k btw
They sound a lot like my Razer Optical Linear switches after I lubed them. Pretty satisfying.
I’d be interested to see a video comparing different types of foam in a keyboard. For example, I put yoga mat foam in my keyboard.
Thank you for posting this today. I have an odd day at school and odd days SUCK. This is the best part of my day. Ur a god thanks bro 😘

have been using my tealios for some months now and like it alot. its totally trasnparent so RGB shows really well compared to the smokey or translucent housing of other switches. 205g0 and krytox 105 spring lubbed with tx .15 filmed its really really smooth to type on. no doubt the sounding of it is higher pitch but its so satisfying compared to deeper sounding switches which could sound "hollow" if not sound isolated well enough. that to me is worth the $1 as you can use it for a long long time, and since its so well made removing it from hotswapped board is also so much easier compared to JWK switches. To me i would say its well worth the money 100%. I have got Black Inks waiting to be build on some up coming build and will give my take on how good it is
wow like the keyboard switch wet dream in the beginning.
this video got recommended to me and i almost thought he uploaded
I've had the chance to try Tealios, Ink Blacks, and Tangerines side-by-side. The Ink Blacks were the smoothest when stock and the Tealios really didn't feel like they were worth that kind of price. I've lubed the three now with 205g0 and it's harder to decide which is the smoothest, but the Tealios definitely don't feel like they're a cut above the other two. Some part of me felt as if the Tealios are slightly smoother than Inks when lubed, but the more I pay attention the harder it got to really be sure of that. It's gonna take me a while to decide which I genuinely like better, but the price of Tealios is always going to be a sticking point.
Banana Split switches all the way. They're so damn smooth stock 'cause of the factory lube. Mixed with an acrylic plate they just feel and sound heavenly.
That intro sent me to heaven and back
Hamaji Neo made this vid at the exact right time I was about to drop $90 for some Tealios but after hearing the L Smokey Purples I had to grab them instead! Sound profile is more poppy for half the price
Durock L really seem to even sound better
thanks for maing the premiere so long welp the days gonna take forever until febuary 2nd
Hamaji, could you do a video about the tangerine V2 switches? I really like your video and I hope you can do more about it
I just bought some zilent switches for my first custom build, although I tried to get the cheaper Aliaz from Drop but they delayed it so much I just couldn't wait to build one.
would also love a Zealios V2 review
finally a SINCERE review on tealios. so glad I bought L5s instead (they even look better imo), sounds like the exact same switch for half the price lol
The tealios switches are well worth the price. I bought the switch purely for the typing sound and I can say that I am very well satisfied. If you want a deep thocc tying sound then this switch is def for you. I have tried the Gateron Ink, the lavenders, the JWKs and non of them sound as clean as tealios v2. Note, the sound of the switches will depend on how much lube you put on them and the material of the keyboard. Overall I think this switch is well worth the price, it is especially good if you can get it on discount like I did.
it is not worth 100 dollars for a set
What are your thoughts on the SP Star Nana or any of the SP Star linear switches? Been seeing a few of them pop up in my country’s market lately.
Love the video. Btw what is this tealish saucer at the begining of the video, can u link it? U can review the OA switches cuz I think they are the best in the market rn considering the price.
they are just recolored Durock Ls, equally manufactured by JWK. only difference is they should have a UHMWPE bottom housing (which is unlikely, UHMWPE is not transparent, unlike OA's bottom housing. it's probably a nylon/UHMWPE mix, with the latter in a minimal quantity).
Would love you to review turquoise tealios sometime
You should do a comparison between this and a black ink and a c3 tangerine or some other linears that people consider “the best”
Edit: another video idea: making the WORST switch possible (200g springs, silicon spray lube and other stuff)
Lubed Tealios V1 sounds like Blues without that actuating thing and lubed too. That was my project lately, and it ended up with not working, but really nice sounding switch :party_parrot:
By this point, im not really into customs anymore. Although I always watch Hamajis videos anyway.
adsf
By saying you're not into custom, I assume you're saying you prefer pre-built stuff like Razer, Corsair or those cheaper brands you can buy off of Aliexpress/Banggood/etc?
Because literally any other type of keyboard bought from keyboard brands are still custom (Epomaker, KBDfans, Ducky, etc)... Like, you're not the one building it, but it's still custom built in that you choose the switches, plate, RGB or not, keycaps, etc... so it's still a custom.
@@radamstep I think he means he’s not going after keyboard parts and things like that, he’s not building or buying any keyboards. Just moving on with his life.

I’m wondering how these compare to alpacas. Great video once again!
Im building my first custom keyboard right now and i dont know if i should lube my tealios v2 any advice?
People spending 150+$ on keycaps complaining about 70$ switches lol
I partially agree, but equal or better switches from the likes of jwk, gateron inks, etc are much cheaper, sometimes half the price, and zeal could easily decrease their prices but they're greedy and can't be asked to compete with other companies
You can draw he same parallel with keycaps though, except the greedyness is even more horrific, a x70 pack of Inks is about 50$ and a x70 pack of Tealios is about 70$ for about the same quality, 20$ difference, a YMDK set is about 30$ and is just as good as a GMK set which sells for about 180$, 150$ difference hahaha
@@dedelabinouze5110 what gmk set sells for 180
@@seba.4926 True, most go for 190
@@dedelabinouze5110 man, your point is kinda nulled by how hard you're exaggerating. gmk sets usually range from $100-135. if its around 135, its usually because they're using new molds
It’s been years yet cherry still have the best sounding housings
What board/key caps did you use in the video?
I tried with milky tops. It's *chefs kiss*. With KAT keycaps, it sounds so thocky. I love it. (no film with them).
Hamaji, can you recommend a custom switch which types like cherry brown?
checked the site but everything is sold out :')) great video tho! learned a lot from you! keep it up!!
After this review I bought Gat ink blacks
What's the difference between these and the tiffany telios? On their site they are sold as separate products on separate product pages.
having owned a switch tester with both (i know thats very different from an actual keyboard with them) i honestly prefer plain gateron blacks, not inks, just blacks
i apparently did not do enough research when i bought the tealios v2s
Do you NEED to clean the factory lube from the Durocks to lube them with krytox205g0 or can you just lube over it no problem?
when I looked at the keys online it looked like I buy them but only 1 per 11 dollars is that right when I buy do I get all the keys?
Hamaji, next maybe review about Mouses
could you review the drevo calibur v2 keyboard one day ? i would like to see budget reviews on your channel , keep it up , great content
@jeff what switch do you have ?
Can I put gateron ink blacks in a GK61? Would I have to clip any of the pins and does that affect performance/sound/feel
I bought a gk61 a little while ago and i was wondering if i can switch the current switches out with glorious pandas?
i just discovered this new world of enthusiast mechanical keyboards, currently im using a razer hunstman elite but its so fucking loud so i think i have to do it myself, soooo, where should i begin?, what are the things that i need to start and dont leave my wallet empty? pd i will use it for gaming almost 80 % of the time :D
