@@thatoneidiot9075 the parts with the texture id of 9 and 8 have to be the same color, otherwise it wont work, and u will have to do !wc again
Just started getting into debug and these help with building alot, don't stop doing them.
after thinking for a while why this isnt working, i finally found the solution. mine wasnt working because i accidentally grouped with a gate. the cams were working but the monitors arent. i basically redo all of my progress and you helped me alot!

for anyone wondering why it doesnt work on normal town make sure to make the lens the same color as the monitor it works
doors and cameras make me want to hydrate my lungs with 60 gallons of water

Since town now added wiring to regular town its worked the exact same until this for some reason I can get the laptop set up but the cameras dont connect to it
the camera lens must be the same color as the monitor
Notice!!! most of the debug items now work on the Main Game, after all this tutorial is 1 year old and a lot of new updates have been released with wiring, so it might not rely on the Debug version such and such.

i think there was a another comment saying this but, the reason why the laptop keeps on saying no signal even with a camera the camera lens and laptop screen have to be the same color. does this help many people?

You have to group them first thats what i did atleast
do i need to make the camera body or all 3 pc parts? cause it dindt work, the computer did but the camera doenst connect, (they have a wall separating them)
For who can't connect the camera to the monitor, you need to put the lens at the same color of the monitor

How do you make it so you can't interact with the door and have to press the buttons?
You need to make transmitter, first u make cube, add texture, image id is 3, transparency -500, then get ur door, by door i mean the part that u want to move, select ur door and the transmitter and group it, then u make button, and u make the 2 cubes with image id 1 and 2, then select the position cubes ( 1 and 2 image id), select the button and select ur door that is grouped with transmitter, group all that and then run !wc
i did the same thing it did not work so i got someone to help they said the model was too complicated

The color of the monitor and the lens are the same, the monitor is on repeat 8, the lens is on repeat 9, the lens and monitor are facing front but whenever I try to wire the camera it doesn’t wire and gives me no signal

are you sure the textures are front
you have to play the debug game, if you are then set the image type to texture and not decal

How did you make the neon thing perfectly on the screen?
press n, n - here you can use transparency, reflectance, and material, select neon material
