@@livelife2324 I did! had to decline tho cuz I didn’t get enough money. luckily I got into a lot of other schools and i am now going to Bowdoin! honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out

Hi Malisha, definitely not! Applicants to Amherst are involved in a variety of different activities, not just sports.

I want to shoot my shots on Ivy League etc, but I also want to be accepted by Amherst. Should I ED to Amherst, does it make a lot of difference with RD? I am an international student who needs full-ride financial aid.

I am in the same position. They meet full financial aid for all admitted students. So I think that the best it's to apply! Are you applying for Fall?
I’m also an international student applying this fall, and I think you should go for it! Even though the competition is getting tougher every year, a lot of liberal arts colleges still don’t have that many ED applicants, so the success rate is definitely higher than ED rates to say Ivy League schools
It's really comforting to know there are people going through the same exact situation I am in. Anyways, I think I'm going to go with Amherst.
