Good video. As a pianist I try to apply coordinated movements when typing or using the mouse including not breaking at the wrist (think of the arm and hand as a unit that moves together), no stretching (shift the whole hand so the fingers stay together, for example, if reaching to hit function or escape key) and not raising the fingers too high so they don't curl. I hope this helps.

I've been diagnosed with shoulder bursitis, but I see the cause is the overuse of the laptop, specially by clicking the left button of the mouse a million times a day due to the technical work I need to do, specially with microsoft excel. What I feel is mostly a sort of tendinitis in my right bicep because of the use of the index finger. I also feel stiffness and weakness in my hands, specially when waking up. I put a box under the laptop so that I don't curve my neck when I look at the screen, but at the same time I think that is bad for my shoulder and arms. Now I would like to know how to cure myself. Years ago I could heal by stopping the use of the laptop for a couple of days, but nowadays it seems it doesn't go away for months until I get a corticoid shot. Do you have any advice? @authorised_creature Před 4 lety

To fix it, I'd first recommend resting your finger for a few days until its gone, and then, after its gone, try to improve your current situation. Like taking more breaks (getting water, bathroom), and using a combination for clicking. For example, I use my laptop's touchpad + Mouse, and have never had any problems with my finger tendons (It was my wrist instead). Also, by any chance? Could the problem be with your mouse (What mouse do you use)? And is your mouse difficult to use/press the buttons?
Another thing to keep in mind is, how you use your mouse. Is your wrist straight? And how do you move your mouse? Do you move it with your wrist? Or do you use your arm instead?
I'd recommend checking this video out, to try and avoid any future problems with mousing: czcams.com/video/vG_3bS3ftVM/video.html
