3080 performs like a 4070 in rasterization and a bit lower in RT, it's a great card
it's also better on RT when the 10gb aren't maxed out, and the 3080 12gb is outright better, the lack of DLSS3 is what gives the 4070 the edge, regardless tho, it's a pretty small difference

I’d recommend for ppl to get a 3080ti personally. But currently I have 7900XTX. Prior, was a 3090 and that 3080ti was the sweet spot
Not in 2023 when you have a the 4070ti that beats it unless you find one used!
Actually I use it at 4k for everything and no complains (ofc 1440 max for the extreme demanding games or 4k high settings/30 fps)

Ratchet and Clank you can enable everything in RT to max, and then run it with DLSS Quality at 50-60 FPS.
Hi mate, sure. I did that to control the VRAM usage, even at High Settings + RT it was using almost 10GB.
@@GeraltBenchmarks I guess you could reduce some of the less important parameters like the textures. It's not like you will see the detail when its fast action. During cut scenes most of the characters have shader-based fur anyway.
@@GeraltBenchmarks Also for Cyberpunk you can use the RT Overdrive optimization mod in Best Performance config to get yourself 48 FPS on average with RT Overdrive and DLSS Quality.
This card should be a great option for 4K! All these games are getting too demanding lol.

@@nicolassantos3491 Se possível, tenta pegar a 4070 no lugar da 3080, ela consome bem menos energia e você não precisaria de uma fonte tão parruda. Para a 4070, se você pegar uma fonte de 650w vai dar e sobrar, 3080 eles recomendam 750w, mas pode até ser menos se a fonte for de qualidade. Mas recomendo uma 4070 com uma boa fonte de 650w mesmo.

Just find one that hasn't been mined hard. Those memory temps in some model didn't like being mined on.
Mk1 is the most pointless benchmark since its caped @60fps lol
