Learn about driving through roundabouts in Madrid, Spain. We drive through multi-lane roundabouts. In these roundabouts, stay in your lane. When exiting, signal and go slow so that other vehicles have time to adjust to your movements. When pushing through, go slow so that other road users have time to adapt. And in Spain, there are large roundabouts with the main road going through the centre. To make a left turn, you go around the roundabout. This reduces points of conflict.

i dont think you are allowed to turn right on red in any european countries( correct me if wrong). the only countries where i know it is allowed are the u.s. canada and china
edit: this makes a good series driving in a foreign country. please consider making more. have fun during your vacation

If you've been using a lot of energy from the battery (heater, airco) then the engine doesn't always shut off when you release the clutch, or if the engine is still cold.

Why is there multiple lanes in a round-about? Wouldn't it be harder to turn out of the round-about from the inner lane?
Multi-lane roundabouts move more traffic per hour, there are less crashes, and these reduce urban noise pollution. I noticed they also dont have yellow lines on the center of the streets to separate opposite travel, but they do have a lot of arrows painted on the pavement.
Hi! Sir, is there any roundabouts that has a traffic lights in Madrid, Spain??
I had to drive in Madrid for the first time last November. I was pretty alarmed to see cars parked inside the roundabout.
Isn't right-on-red banned EVERYWHERE? Except North America or even only the states I mean? In Germany we rarely have a sign with a green right arrow next to the red light and in these cases right-on-red is allowed, but never without that sign. and I've never heard about any single country doing what you do in North America.
There is a saying that every Spanish man is a would be matador and every Spanish women is a would be flamenco dancer and that shows in how they drive so look out, I have witnessed some crazy driving in Spain LOL !! ( and in France )

The navigation was the most challenging bit my friend. I forgot to ask the rental staff to change the GPS into English. And for whatever reason, I couldn't figure it out on my own. Even the emergency vehicle got past me there. All the very best, Cheers Rick

Why are you in Spain, vacation or work.
Traffic circles seem to be more common in Europe than North America. They seem to be safer than the US Canada Stop sign controlled intersection and traffic light controlled intersections. Driving on one of them seems to be required for their Car License road test European Union category B Car Trailer to 750kg B+E. Turn right on Red It's not allowed in Europe instead you have to wait for a dedicated signal for Right turns. Parts of Europe like United Kingdom Ireland Malta Cyprus have the same sign to allow left turns
Roundabouts move more traffic than conventional intersections, have fewer crashes, and reduce urban noise pollution. And overall, these are just better. How's your brother doing with his new license? All the very best, Cheers Rick
