It's not bad for what it is, but I really hope when Toy Story 5 comes out that Mattel makes a movie-accurate replica, they could even put it on their collector website and charge premium prices (though I hope it wouldn't be insanely expensive 😅)

i doubt, Mattel prefers to make smaller toy story figures overall, and making full size figures are a bit expensive and tricky, Is possible but I would not count on that
@@christopher9291 Sometimes they'll do movie replicas though, they made a smaller-scale Batmobile for the Pattinson Batman movie that was fully tricked-out, and a lifesize hoverboard from Back to the Future (though that one wasn't well received) 😜

I hope they make a better model for both woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Bullseye. I will say these “new” ones are far better then the previous Disney store ones, thought I hope for Toy Story 5 they look better.

Your review of these products educated me as to what's available. I was thrilled when I ordered this from Amazon and found that it had no name on the boot. Nor does my Buzz Lightyear.

Judging by Toy Story 2.
Woody is shown to be a puppet moved by strings.
So in theory if you attach stings to your woody toy then you can make him come alive and move.
I’m guessing that’s why the woody toy is so flimsy and doesn’t stand up.
I personally prefer the ones before toy story 4.

@@todayigrewup one thing I would have is the glow in the dark feature for all of them, not just the special editions. I still feel we’re getting closer to fully retractable helmet, but not quite there yet. I’m just trying to sound realistic.
I got this exact doll when I was 5 years old at the Disney store in the mall. And 3 years later I decided to give it away to charity. Now I'm 10 years old and miss the doll. Luckily i found the exact doll today and I'm getting soon.
Edit: I just got the Disney store woody. It is not the same one I had when I was younger the hat and voice box changed but I'm still loving if

@todayigrewup, I pulled my Woody’s pull-string and it had the same phrases as yours because it’s the 2023 Woody I have not the 2019 one.
Got one from hong kong disnyeland last january. Kinda disappointed that the phrases were all from the 4th film. Its like he forgot hes a cowboy not even a "howdy". I oped mine had cowboy phrases too...
They all change a little over time so get a used one that’s older than 2019 and you might like it better or this new edition…

Bonnie’s name on the boot is dumb in all honesty, especially considering how she straight up forgot about him in TS4 (for a piece of cutlery). It’s been four years and i’m still not over that. Also, the voicebox is.. incredibly mediocre.
