I am a VB LOCAL been here for about 30 years King Neptune is an eye sore. So many things have changed since this video...many nice things going in this town. LOVELY place to live. We love when you all come to visit.

I'm from norfolk/VB and anyone visiting, there's lots to see and do since it's a huge military and tourist city. Theres the oceanfront, chix Beach, shore drive, Mount trash Moore ect

I grew up there and used to ride my bike there during the off season. The streets used to be packed at night with a lot of "cruising" going on and stereo's thumping. Hopefully that doesn't exist anymore and you enjoyed your time.

My family's favorite beach to go to. Was a tradition yearly. We always stay at the Best Western Sandcastle hotel you showed. Perfect spot right at the pier. Its been 5 years since we have been. Cant wait to go back this July! I always watch this video to get me in the mood and excitement for Va Beach

it actually rained the whole time...lol we had one day where it didn't rain in the day time, so we got to go check out the first landing., maybe next trip will be dryer.
cassie barker yes First Landing State Park is awesome and the hiking trails are nice last year we posted a video back there if you want to see what it looks like ahead of time and yes hopefully next visit will be more dry

You are not miss a thing. They still RIP off the tourists. TAXES on everything. You stay in motel on the oceanfront , you have to pay to park your car there, so sad. RESTAURANTS TAXES are 11.5%. I know that's not state tax. Shame on you Virginia Beach

Is there any boardwalk-like experience here like Ocean City. I have people in the group who love to shop and want continuous shops. I have been up and down the east coast but never to Virginia Beach for some reason. We want to be able to walk all night and shop.

most i even did was 2 hours, but I think for sure can do more.....There are pay stations on the street. Just ener tag # and so easy. I never go there in summer but jut local beaches...I like them better.
Grew up on 40th St and visited friends that live in Lynnhaven recently after a twenty year absence.
We decided to visit The Strip, have dinner, and stroll the south end boardwalk and enjoy what used to be a pleasant, family-friendly walk along the ocean.
A family was washing their clothes in the public restrooms at 19th street.
A group of young people rode by on bikes yelling at my friends and I to "get out the way" (verbatim)
As we made our way back to the south end parking area (used to be known as "The Loop") the VBPD had several officers on bicycles seemingly trying to quell a group of unruly youths near the jetty who continually raised their voices with explicatives while children were present.
What happened to common decency and respect? As a native of Virgina Beach it was sad to see this behaviour.

Been to beach it's beautiful I like it better than Florida because no alligators here there's alot to do I think it's a great place my daughter s live here they like it very much
The local beaches are good....Little Island State Park, Sandbridge Beach and I like Chics Beach....I am always in Brazil and making videos there because the beaches there are so nice....

I just went to their website and checked for you for people over 48 inches tall there is an unlimited wristband and the price is $39.99
I think there is also an option where you can buy for this park and also Motor World go karts they have a lot of go-kart tracks and I think the price for both parks is $69.99

there is a haunted attraction that's open all year round with LIVE Actors and there is also a mirror maze and a 3D Funhouse that they have!

So ironic when I was at Virginia Beach I saw a band that was playing the very same song in the video Let's Whip it Baby by the Dazz Band.
dvferyance that's cool normally I never go to Virginia Beach I go to the local beaches especially during the crowded summer time but we made this video last summer because people like to come here and visit so I figured I would try to show the area a little bit
