Don't be too harsh on Singdam eh: Multiple lumpini champ; fighter of the year in Thailand; awsome record; fought the elite over and over again over 20 plus years; I could go on. Every muay thai fighter has a weakness and this sport forces you into match ups that other fighting arts and sportsman would avoid. It is horses for courses. Still, Payet, talentated as he looks and with dangerous hands couldn't surmount the Black Lion.
Exactly my thought. Dude had a crazy career already. He still compete because he loves it not because he need to prove anything.
As a fan of Singdam, this match disappoints me. It looks like he hasn't learned anything from his previous two KO losses. Singdam got KOed via headkicks. All in the same manner.
the strategy is overcome the headkick with stronger right mid kick. so much singdam style.

The head recovers better than the body in this case. Amazing torso work. Thai fighters are just a different breed.
Jeremy Payet looked really good, but used up all his energy. Watch out for this kid.
fireflyrain i dont think he used up all his energy, i think he didnt defend properly in the clinch so singdam exploited that flaw when he saw it
@@antoniobarreiro6735 No doubt Singdam experience and his composure helped him, but it is obvious if Jeremy has more gas in the tank it'll be an easy win.
For the first part of the fight Payet forgot he was supposed to lose in order to keep fighting at Yokkao but was then reminded close to the end to just wear out and lose.... kidding..kidding... you can see how Singdam broke down Payet's left side with his roundhouses causing the midsection to shut down and the leg to aid to the shut down by being slowed down considerably.

Payet was doing too well there, must of gotten hit with some of those good body kicks Singdam was trying to land every step of the way until he got him and took the wind out of the Frenchman.

I didn't like this referee....he should have let SIngdam go on and not give the 10 counts so soon. They are professionals and should be allowed to take more punishment. It seems once Payet was in danger, the referee was so concerned he nearly jumped in immediately. It was as if he as officiating an amateur fight

It never ceases to amaze me how nieve, cliched and clumsy the commentators on Yokkao are. They are blinded by their own hype and ego and that clouds their judgement. I would recommend turning the sound down but actually I have become quite entertained, fight after fight, by the ignorance and proverbial egg on their faces.

Why he wasn't doing anything to defend himself....he knew he had two 10 counts if he wanted to fight on he would have fought and not just stood there taking knees...he was done
@@dotsfrazer He took lots of hard knees, OK, but maybe he was waiting for the round to end. And the ref stops the fight right on the bell, he should at least let him recover for the next round...
@@Okwolus he wasnt. He knew he lost the fight after he didnt ko singdam in the first round. He knew it was his only chance to win.
Rules usually state that you cannot be saved by the bell plus this was his third knockdown and he was not defending himself. Third KD in a round means automatic stoppage.
