  • This talk looks at the inner men beneath the blue and gray uniforms and their traits as commanders. When Grant and Lee are stripped of myth and romanticism we can discover some rather surprising things about each of them and gain more insights into why they were the generals they became.

Mr. Davis is a pure delight to listen to ‼️ He adds a great sense of humor with history interwoven so well that we'd have more kids with a love for history which is sorely needed today ‼️

Mr. Davis has a great sense of humor, in addition to his knowledge of history.

Jack is second to none as a scholar and speaker. He is also a wonderful guy.

This was an excellent lecture on the two great army generals of the north and south. Grant the quiet silent man wrote those wonderful memoirs yet Lee the talkative man , wrote nothing. God bless them.❤️

Great presentation. I like to know if this is true, was Robert E Lee offered the command of the Union Army before he resigned his commission when Virginia succeeded?
