- Do you find Thinners / Thinning Shears / Blenders a difficult thing to master in Professional Pet Grooming - or even if you are a Home Groomer trimming your pet at home? Well, don't worry, it's difficult for EVERYONE! There is a feel that comes with practice, but at least you can know the common applications of thinning shears for grooming in a pro-environment! And yes, technically, the type of shears we are using are called Blenders, but the Pro Groomer lexicon (at least at this point in time) generally refers to this type of equipment as a Thinner or Thinning Shear. Gina, all the video I watch don't mention this "bounce". I notice groomer will move hand a bit. I don't know what is that and why they do it.
