He tried to lure Avon with nostalgia but it ended up killing him because that s not in the game (same thing with wallace getting shot by his friends while telling fond stories). It s not that he forgot, but him telling that made it easier to let go of Dukie and not involve him any further.

It was a good show, but while we were making street hood stories, they were making movies about being warriors and leaders, things we were from Africa to Egypt to successful contributors in so many ways to this country. It's sad how they depict us, but on the flip side, we should been saying we don't want to see that that is not us.
The sad thing about this clip, is at the end of the season/show [I forget which], the boys look back on this as the "good times", before shit got real and they had to grow up way to early.
