I can sing it beautifully. My voice can go from 2 octaves below C to 2 octaves above C and that give me the luxury to start low to and octave above C in quick swing motion which right the style of this song. I love it and the people too.

A lot of the words are wrong.
+R Paz most of these are made in the Philippines or by Filipinos ...English is their secondary language. They grew up thinking these are the words ...for them, they're correct.

when you reach the part...not park. It's the 'part' of the story he's singing about. I think it's also a 'three way scrape'. That's the common saying.

Hi Bill. The track is a copy of the original with the original vox equalized out. That is why the strings are only half there and the 12 string guitar parts are almost not audible. But it is the original track . That is why the instrumentation, as you say, of the track is so good. This was recorded with a live orchestra in the studio!! You cannot repeat the string sounds and live bow effects digitally. Not yet anyway:) regards . Dave Ashby

Hi David. Gordon is a Canadian Singer songwriter. His songs have been covered by many international artists. You should just check out iTunes . His best work apart from read my mind are , in my opinion, Sundown , wonderful song:), carefree highway, wreck of Edmund Fitzgerald. He was really a local folk musician who broke into the international music scene without any desire on his part . His music publisher and record company believed in him. Hi. A lot of people have already correctly informed you guys regarding the lyrics. And correctly also. Further more , your timing with regards to when one should sing is almost a beat to early . This is not a problem with the verses , but the bridge? And please do not insult the intelligence of people who may check out your backing tracks . From what I have heard so far , including this number, all the songs are original songs with the vox eq’d out . This also explains the loss of string and guitar tracks. It’s always best to be honest. You don't need to hear ir again but there are plenty The worst flipping of words is in the line "Heroes often....you say FLIP (That would be Benedict Arnold) the word is really "FAIL." Heroes have often been on the losing sides but in the end they remain heroic in their actions.

Go to Bing search, (I find that a bit easier than HillarysGoogle), Type in: "The words to--- Blah, Blah", without the quotes of course, or the dashes, or comma's or.....you get the picture. And, now that you've got the picture, take a Picture, using your "screenshot", save it in your own, special, "I can't remember the damn words" folder. Wa' La', words to the song. Then you can go find yourselves the best possible version of the song you want to sing so you can totally and completely annoy your neighbors, friends, family, and... soon to be ex.

Great song, bad translation in this karaoke version!!!!!! Why go through all of the trouble to make a karaoke video of a classic song if your going to include a ton of mistakes and incorrect lyrics? You should have gone to Gordon's website to get the official lyrics.

Crappy karaoke version. Please use the correct lyrics. It is not hard to google the correct lyrics. Many of the words you use for this song don't even make sense in the context of the song.

"the heroes often fake"? No, it should be "heroes often fail". There are numerous other inaccuracies as well. My guess this is just a basic speech-to-text translation that was never proof-read. This is literally your business and you can't be bothered to get it right? This is a fantastic song and you butcher it. Absolute terrible.
