This was not General Election. We need to focus on getting in an opposition voice in the General Election and EU that is the most we can hope for, unfortunately.
It could change a bit in the general election but the reality I think is that none of the other parties can do one single bit better and it's a bit like Mass nowadays not a lot of the youth are bothered to go

The Irish Constitution stated that only Irish Citizens have the right to vote in our elections so having non Citizens voting makes the result null and void.

The pro immigrant candidates have a very well established party logo and brand to stand under in FG. The FG vote must be taken into account tjere. The anti immigrants movement is new, none established, and really has no particular home. Those candidates range from far right paries to independent candidates, etc... too early to prove Varadkars argument. In some areas, a statue could run under FG/FF in rural Ireland or south Dublin and get elected! I don't personally want to see anti-immigrant candidates get elected, but i would like to see someone with a sensible approach elected. So far, that hasn't been the government parties.
