I haven't even watched MHA but I heard You Say Run in a meme like 3 years ago and it was just insanely hype and recently it's been making a comeback on Instagram. Glad to see such an epic song getting recognition!
We're two then (kind of) that haven't watched MHA and still get the chills!
The meme is "You Say Run Goes With Everything" all the way back from 2016. You can literally use this in any moment and it instantly hypes it up no matter the context.

Agreed it's an amazing OST.
Never really got the hype on that one. Felt extremely out of place during that episode to me. Personal preference, obviously. Maybe I need to watch the movie, since they told me that over there it makes a lot more of sense than in the series.

Oh, I hate to double comment, but your analysis of what You Say Run means is SO spot on. If you ever watch the All Might vs. Nomu fight scene which is arguably the most iconic use of You Say Run...it'll make sense. And you'll know how very right you are.
I'd say Deku vs Class 1-A is better.
MHA is my favorite Anime fo all times, and this song symbolizes doing your best, passing your limits, for what you believe in amd to accomplish it, and you picked it up from the song perfectly
Bleach is my GOAT personality, but MHA is fantastic and You Say Run is beyond hype and an incredible fit.
This song is just something else, it has a different energy!

You Say Run and Jet Set Run definitely remind me of Sonic 06 ost, especially "His World"
My Hero Academia is probably one of my favourite animes. Some of my favourite characters in media come from this show. And i live how the mangaka built the world. A unique look on how superpowers would affect our world

I'd encourage you to look up the You Say Run performance for charity that's on CZcams. It might be the greatest thing I've ever heard.
