I didn't realise how simple song it was before I watched this video. It is so incredible how Pearl Jam can make the simpliest things sound so sophisticated.... Love that band forever.

that's exactly the thing, half the time PJ sounds complex but is simple, and the other half they sound simple but it's complex. tricky dogs!

I do. I can't really explain it, I've just taught guitar full time for 15 years so I just recognize notes just as you would look at a tree and recognize a tree. Of course I'm not always right, but I get better and better as time goes on (I hope) :)
