- This is my two year old husky Nikita. As far as huskies go, he isn't as vocal as some, but the one thing that will get him to howl is his squeaky ball. He gets so excited when I get it out for him.
This is my husky’s favorite video, he literally doesn’t howl at any others except for this one. His tail wags the whole time! So sweet 🥹🥹

Well Nikita would be 15 now, and average husky life-span is 12-15 so hopefully hes still alive and well ❤. But if not he was a beautiful boy and created happiness either way!

Howling because the squeak toy reminds her of being a puppy in the litter with her mates. They make similar sounds if you're ever weaned a litter...the dog whisperer knows their memories are strong in this regard

I had several Huskies when I was younger and they all howled. It's a beautiful sound! Also, their fur doesn't get stinky, it always smells sweet. Many years ago I had to go on a business trip and had to leave my precious Husky with a friend for two weeks. When I picked him up, she asked me if I sprayed him with perfume because he smelled sweet. Of course, I never sprayed him. That 's just the way Huskies smell.
