- This is the first of 9 days of a Sims FreePlay Pregnancy Event full walkthrough. To unlock pregnancy in Sims FreePlay, you must first complete the Two and a Half Sims Quest, then build the Maternity Store, then complete the Pregnancy Quest. You also need to have sim populations under the town limit and in the household where you want to add a baby.

When pregnancies first came into to the game I thought that they were a really fun and realistic addition to Sim world (and still do). But just as with live events, I feel that EA has gone a little bit overboard with what they expect us to do in a certain amount of time. Saying this, I still do really love the Sims Freeplay and think that it's a fun platform to express yourself on in a creative way. I just miss the old days when we didn't have to devote so much of our time and resources to complete an event lol!

Pregnancies are so much pointless busy work in the game. I didn't really care if we got the feature but I feel bad for the people that wanted and got stuck with having to do all this work lol. I do love the furniture though. The color combos are so cute and make for much better nurseries. I wish we had toddler stuff to match in fact.
Saaaame, I was never one to ask for this feature. But this is the Sims world we live in now and we all have to weigh how much we want the stuff versus the work required. I will honestly be amazed if we manage to complete everything. 🤣
@@Make2 I did some pregnancies when they first came out and hated them so I quit doing them lol. It seems like the tasks are so much worse now though. One event needs forty Sims. That's just wild. I hope I finish this one since I already started it but I'm not sure I'll even bother with the next two if they're like this.

I got a task to have 19 sims share parenting advice with another sim, that's 38 sims. I only have 36 sims (well, 35 right now cause someone got deleted to make space for a baby) cause of my VIP level. I wonder if they deliberately calculate it based on your sim total to be more than you have. If that's the case, anyone who spends 50 bucks to have an extra sim (waaay too expensive, imo) would still never catch up to having enough sims to do the event. It's frankly ridiculous.

I had that task on Day 1. Needed 30 Sims.

I just started my 9 day pregnancy and right now I'm doing a task to get maternity tokens
It sounds to me like EA is trying to find more ways to get people to spend money on their games. I've never been able to spend money on EA so every event I've done I've had to try to finish without buying LP's SP's or simoleans. Maybe that's why they are trying to make tasks more difficult. They went people to spend their money on this game.
I think most people assume EA wants players to spend money. They are a business after all. 🤓 But not a lot of people think about where the money goes.
When does the bump become visible
hi, will the quest nesccesarily need to have 12 sims to do certain quests or does it just go based off on how many sims you have in your world? Because i just started playing a few days ago and i only have 8 sims and haven't started the pregnancy quest yet until the maternity store in done building.
I got stuck with that one but I only needed 5 pairs of sims to do it
