Harry Ray (1st/2nd Tenor), Al Goodman (Bass/Baritone), Billy Brown (sideburns)(1st/2nd Tenor). One of the finest and most underrated vocal trios ever. R-I-P Harry Ray and (my buddy) Al Goodman. Carry on Billy Brown!
When these guys were in their prime, I ignored them. Boy thank goodness for CZcams, the Moments are in the upper echelons of the "Brothers Hall of Fame, no doubt!
HARRY RAY HAD A SMOOTH, ANGELIC AND REGAL VOICE!!! THEY WERE ALL FIRST CLASS SINGERS/SHOWMEN.. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER TRIO LIKE THESE THREE BROTHERS!!!!
I was so in love with Harry Ray he melted my heart and I wish I was at this concert I would have turned it out and asked them why they still sitting I don't know how to go to a show with Billy Brown I will cry thinking of Harry Ray forever love this group wish I fine more concerts with the real Harry Ray forever love 💕💙
I'VE ALWAYS LOVED THESE GUYS FROM THE TIME OF THE MOMENTS UP AND NOW AS RAY- GOLDMAN & BROWN - I WISH MORE GROUP'S WOULD BE AS THEY ARE BUT THEY HAVE LEFT A HELLUVA LEGACY TO THEIR FANS AND THANK THEM FOR THE YEARS !!!❤❤❤❤❤-❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😎
I saw them back in the 70s at a high school auditorium. Their voice blend, the strength and power of their vocals - nothing rivals them. They will always be one of my all time favorite groups!! I wish I could see them again.
You and me, Margaret! One of my many regrets In my lifetime is that I never got to see them back when they were all alive and performing. I've been listening to them since them since the mid seventies. Those voices only come around a few times in a lifetime. To me they never got the recognition that they deserved .Besides Philip Bailey from Earth Wind and Fire, Major Harris,.Sadly most of them have passed away, but their music will live forever! Sadly there's no groups now days singing this beautiful, romantic, soul touching music. Or very few if any with these kind of voices! R.I.P. Al Goodman, Harry Ray, from a devoted fan for more than 45 years! Frank.
This is one of my favorite groups from the 70's era. I still listen to their greatest hits CD. " Just because he wants to make love doesn't mean he loves you" still blows me away today. And I have to mention" I don't wanna go, but I can't stay here no more" Gone but never forgotten, carry on Mr. Billy Brown.❤❤❤
Just turned 56 and I only just realised, I wasn’t paying good enough attention to these incredible men. Thanks for preserving and sharing this amazing performance. Future soul singers will love this.
Lord have mercy! You truly blessed these guys with special heartfelt voices. RIP Harry Ray, and Al Goodman. Billy, continue to grace us with your wonderful performances.
I was completely entertained by this. I was 10 years old when some of these songs came out. Seeing these live performances by some of the greatest groups in the history of music makes me happy
I AM SOOOOOO IN LOVE WITH THE HEAVENLY SOUND OF OF HARRY RAY AND HIS VOICE IS SPINE TINGELING AND LIGHT AS A CLOUD- HE'S LEFT A HELLUVA LEGACY OF MUSIC FOR US TO STILL ENJOYTHRU THE UPCOMING YEARS- SIMPLY PUT THERE'S NOT A GROUPS TODAY WHO CAN COMPETE OR COMPARE TO RAY, GOODMAN & BROWN AND ITS NOW 2023 !!! I GIVE THIS SHOW 11 *😎
The lyrics… our love is like a house on a firm foundation that’s standing on solid ground … we build a wall of trust and love all around us and no one can tear it down ! Goddamn that says it all to your baby… if she can’t understand that then she needs to hit replay !
The Moments name was owed and trademarked by Sylvia (Sylvie) Robinson, the Queen and founder of Hip Hop, who deserves a Star on the Walk of Fame and to be voted in the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame for sure. Long, long overdue.
My Cousin Diane Hill And I when to see them in our hometown of Cleveland Ohio at The Public Auditorium ! And they blow the roof off the building(Smiles)!! Such precise harmony and dynamic singing !! Not too mention! All three looked so -ooo “handsome”!! Harry Ray had a perfect 1&2nd Tenor ! And Falsetto 🤗🤗🤗!! Rip Harry and Al we miss you both !! Billy continue’s to sing 🎤 his heart out !! Sincerely SuperFan DEBB J.
This is such an amazing concert and this audience didn't deserve them. I know it's 40+ years ago but wow...people get on your feet! You were in the presence of greatness. Rest in Peace to all the departed. What's astounding however about this show, is 79-80 they released one of the greatest sleeper soul albums ever with EASILY 3 more singles than the 2 that were released. And this concert played only 2 of those songs and yet had several covers! Interesting choices but I'll listen to these guys sing anything!
Thank you for posting this. man I have been looking for something from one of my favorite groups for long time. Grew up on the Moments/Ray, Goodman and Brown. Thank you God Bless!
I was fortunate to meet these awesome performers after a concert at Constitution Hall in DC I'll never forget how grateful they were to meet me! Heavenly. I LOVE THESEmen .
This is awesome seeing the big three together this concert is amazing all three guys are so talented but my friend harry cud do almost anything with that beautiful voice gods gift to him my guys are sooo missed rest easy harry ray and al Goodman.
I can’t believe those people were sitting in their seats with their stale Azz movements⁉️ I would’ve been on my feet the whole entire time singing with them‼️ I grew up listening to my parents blast their music throughout the house on the weekends while we would all be cleaning🥰
My group the Bubble Gum Machines hung out with Ray,Goodmen, and Brown at All Platium Records in Teaneck NJ. The great Michael Burton and Sylvia Robinson was producing them and us years ago in 74. They where the greatest.
Billy Brown did that thing!!!! 👏 That audience ought to be ashamed not showing these guys the enthusiasm they deserve. Bunch of dead rats! 💀 Wish I was there!!!
I saw them in Mannheim Germany in 2000 at the military club. They were still doing well. It was Billy, Al and the 1st tenor was the backup. My wife and I had them over to our house for dinner before the show. Great memories and time.
Thank you for your interesting comment! You have really great memories! Too bad Harry Ray was already dead in 2000. Unfortunately I don't know the name of his substitute as a tenor. But surely it is also an excellent singer.
Now if I ever wanted to try to get next to a beautiful woman throw on Ray, Goodman & brown they say all the things I want say but don't know how.thanks my brothers for all the great songs yaw put out.yaw are missed. Peace

WOW! WOW! WOW!!!! As I was a teenager in the 70s, listening to this type of music was a joy!
It's so refreshing to hear a lovely song without all that cussing 💞

The vocal ranges of these Brothers will never cease to amaze me. The Ray, Goodman and Brown Orchestra we're not to be messed with.
I had the pleasure of seeing them twice. They put on a greet show both times.
I can imagine..🤓
