- Man... racing in the rain is tough. Glad to fight back at the end right there and end up in the top 15. Slow improvments but I'm really excited for Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend.

Racking up solid finishes, taking what you can get, not making excuses, appreciating the team, nobody gets thrown under the bus..... I'm liking this driver. I see nothing but good things in the future with this kind of approach.

shes not going anywhere. shes building her career like i have seen noone do in the business. nascar is about money. people need money just to have the chance. especially in trucks there are plenty of drivers capable. but hailie star is as bright as a cup racer. she is doing it smart. i bet her merch is close to the merch sales of the best in cup. she aint going nowhere. when you have a bonafide skilled superstar driver. she could pretty much go anywhere. any team could take her as a driver and make money rn. when she gets to cup tho shes def gonna need her bf running the channel. cuz shes gonna be busy af. sponsors will LINE up for hailie in cup. so i could see her going to the best team.
That was an amazing race! Start 28th, spun out and dropped to 32nd, then work your way up to a 14th finish! Amazing! Simply amazing!
The spotter is so calm on the radio, building more confidence in the rain .

I've raced and won alot of races in the northeast short tracks over the years. Super Late Models, wing 360 sprint Cars, and Modifieds... For the booing. Just remember. If they are booing or cheering. At least they are making noise. All that matters. Your getting notice.
Boos just mean they are scared you are going to kick their fave drivers butt....
I'd take it just as... they have a friend/spouse that is a huge fan, and they are going to have to listen to it...

Called my boys over to watch you get hassled going into the track you don't deserve that. I like watching you talk shop proves that you know what you are talking about. I hope to bring my boys down to a nascar weekend one day I live in northern Canada so it's not that easy. Watching your vlogs is great and I hope it encourages more girls to get behind the wheel.

In some instances, this one I’m not sure , where’s the results to hate on? I could be wrong but never finished within the top 10 I do think she has better potential than every other female who has tried nascar
This is no surprise. There is tons of hate for her on the Internet and it will only get worse as she moves up the ladder. There are lots of guys who hate woman racers period.
I think a lot of the issue might stem from who her father is, and people connect his success with her being in Nascar. It's not fair to her or anyone. IMO if you can make it to Nascar as a driver and improve the competition and the sport, then I think you should be on the asphalt.
Jeff Gordon asked Big E how he handles the booing. Big E responded, when they stop making noise is when you need to worry. Not word for word, but close. Personally, I think the way you handled it was perfect. Laugh it off, you’ll be around a long time.

You ain't kidding. Biggest thing that jumped out on the race section of this is how incredibly good the guy was at telling her everything she needed to know at every second.

I was a corner worker for Long Beach Grand Prix back in 96. Used to say good morning to the racers as they would walk thru the barriers onto the track at 6:30am. Times have changed. Keep pushing girl.

I got my 11 year old daughter to watch a few of your videos, and now she asks where you are when I'm watching the races. Soooo, I got tickets for Friday at Charlotte, and she's going to go to her first race... Super Stoked that she has interest, and we have something to do together. I get to go to the truck race, and she's going to watch Hailie. It's a Win - Win.

Watching her talk about her lines and strategies with her crew chief really shows she isn't just a pretty face. She is a racer and really cars how she does in the race.

You're the only NASCAR driver I know who vlogs about the races in such great detail!
As for the credentials, it is one of the biggest turnoffs to have people constantly checking your cards. I had garage/pit road passes a few years ago and literally every 5-10 minutes I had someone coming up and asking to see my credentials asking if I was in the right area. At the end of the weekend I was just wore out with being constantly worried about it, it really deterred from the awesome experience of being behind the scenes.

Seeing improvement each time out on the track, keep up the great work and the top 10's then top 5's will be coming your way. You have the confidence and skill ( more then most of the drivers in the series ) just not the best equipment, you keep taking care of yours and let these less skilled drivers destroy theirs and you will really start showing them who's boss!
