Why do I get emotional every time I hear this song?! I dunno... maybe it's the movie. I remember when I went to see it on my tenth birthday. I was so happy there was finally a Disney princess that "looked like me" so I could finally join in my friends' Disney role-playing games as a princess. I was smiling throughout the whole movie. After the movie was over, I was about to leave when my mom passed out in the theater. She was having a seizure. We took her to the hospital. Three weeks later, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Every time I even hear a reference to Princess & the Frog, it makes me think of that perfect birthday I never had. I haven't seen it since. On my fifteenth birthday, I'm going to rent it on demand so I can finally have my perfect birthday. I love this song, I love this movie, I love you guys up at North Main Class of 2011, and I love you mom :')
