@@IanWilkinson-SgtWilko I bring you sad news. Don't. Except if you want to do heli-skiing in Retezat mountains, that's kind of ok. Even skiing in Ukraine or Greece is highly better.
I think it's all about the perspective.... I grew up as a professional skier participating in skiraces all over germany and austria all my youth and childhood. Skiing was and is a big part of my life. And Skiing is interesting in all the countries that you go to. Even Romania. I mean if you only want high end skiing then you cant even go to germany and austria.... you have to go to switzerland and france. But who wants that? Its like saying you can only go to the Caribbean to go to the beach... What do you think about my thought vasile?
@@romaniac ski-wise, Italy would be Caribbean and Romania a tiny miserable expensive lake, that's my opinion. Some people above really misunderstood my message, because paper patriots don't care about understanding texts. My main idea is that Romania HAS a lot of skiing potential, but at the moment it's an extremely modest experience. Or horrible in most cases. We should not aim for Austria or Italy, we should aim at least for Bulgaria or Ukraine. We are far, far behind them.

why Marcus always say " if you wonder what this German and this black man are doing in Romania ...". Why the English guy is always called the black man but the German guy is called "German" ?

Thing is, I am an avid Romanian skier. Skiing in Romania is mostly SHIT. I go to Dolomiti Mountains and costs are pretty much the same. And I am talking about 1300 km of slopes in the most beautiful place on Earth
