We Have Always Lived in the Castle is my favorite Shirley Jackson book. Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist are in my top books of all time. Father Karras is one of my favorite literary characters. I had fun with Maeve Fly. I need to revisit The Only Good Indians. I DNF it but then absolutely LOVED My Heart is a Chainsaw and Don'r Fear the Reaper. • @NicolesBookishNook

Depends on a few things but it'll take longer depending on your health before starvation begins, what you weigh, and how much caloric intake you are getting/being forced to take. One month isn't an end all, be all for starvation. 4-5 days without water is solid though. You are worse off not drinking water than not eating. You can go quite a long time without food, but it will absolutely suck, no doubt.
