See it's the same reason we don't punch the back directly in boxing because if someone wanted to they can take you out with just a few well placed back shots pause, just like the back of the head which is worse probably because not even a hard shot can land on the back of the head and you can really be mentally disabled, but if your a pure blood sport fan lethwei might be your sport but even then they don't allow shots to the back of the head either
I agree but it is also boring. People want to see strikes not two people hugging on the ground. People don’t know grappling or wrestling they know a punch in the face. Its a dynamic of a sport or a fight? I need to start smoking weed again 🙂
