I don't think it's inherently wrong for her to be caught up in her feelings for Deku for a little while. It's a relatable thing, I feel like most of us can remember of a time when our crush was all we would think about. If this portrayal of her goes on FOREVER then yeah that's bad, but I don't think it's gotten to the point where it's detrimental yet. She IS a young high schooler after all
When I entered this fandom, I was surprised by the hate she was getting bc she's one of my favorite anime girls. She's super kind and funny, she's a good friend and has a great quirk. I also love how relatable and "normal" she is. She isn't extremely strong, nor she has the best grades but that makes her attaching.
Idk why everyone gets so mad that Uraraka has a crush on Izuku, it’s not her fault that Deku’s fucking gorgeous and has a decent personality.
Her "crush" on Deku is something she treats as a distraction.
I want a momo development arc also. I’ve always found her character interesting and relatable but the show is kinda just like
I really love how she chose to learn combat skills during the internship it just made her more interesting
I think she needs to get to the point where she still likes deku, but doesn’t idolize him as she does now. She basically sees him as a hero who she wants to be like, inherently subverting her own character.
The fact that she gets hate for being in the way of their wierd ass ships- The fandom is hella crazy
Urakara: Broke student
I hate how people hate on Ururaka because she’s apparently annoying and has a CRUSH. I mean who could blame her for liking deku? He is extremely caring. Who wouldn’t want a caring partner? She’s not even annoying at all. There’s really no reason to hate her.
Uraraka: broke as hell
Deku:
Uraraka has honestly grown since the first season, hell since the sports festival. her character development, in not only her costume design but her quirk as well, has gotten much better. People tend to see past the part where she's doing heroism for money BECAUSE she wants to help her family, not just get money. In both the manga AND the anime it was shown that she'll push her feelings for deku aside to focus on her main goal. She has also said countless time that she wants to save people, so she has another reason to become a hero. She has saved some of the characters countless times and if she really was just doing it for money, she wouldn't be who she was now. They also hate her for getting shipped with everyone BUT Izuku but they also seem to ignore the fact that it's the same with Izuku: he's shipped with everyone else EXCEPT Ochako. So honestly, this fandom is just choosing favorites at this point.
This girl needs a whole backstory I know she got a little but ochaco needs more
Spoiler alert.. Uraraka did kick some people's ass in manga. Bring a total victory to class A.

Honestly, I don’t think there’s any problem with uraraka herself or her crush on deku. I think there’s a problem with the way horikoshi has used the time she has been in the show/manga to mostly focus on her feelings for deku.
