- We are Lavender and Joshua a newly married couple from South Carolina! In this video follow along with us during a week of our lives. We spend cozy slow mornings together, start a healthy eating journey and I share with you some of my fun Disney mugs I have collected.
This is so awesome!! My husband and I are also on a health journey!! You can do it! 🥳
Thank you! Do you and your husband have any good tips?
Also, you love the Halloween party!!! So many great shows, the parade, THE CHARACTERS!! So so GOOD! I love hocus pocus, so the show is my favorite 😂
Ahh I think I would love it based on the vlogs that I’ve seen! Hopefully they’ll release the party dates and tickets soon!!
I love your channel ❤ please do as many videos as you can ♥️ you guys are great!
Thank you so much! We definitely plan on continuing to make videos and we hope you’ll enjoy them! 😊💛
Wishing you the best on your journey! I'm still on mine and always remember that it's not linear but as long as you keep going, you're going to do great! I love the mugs! I'm a Disneyland girlie and I forever regret getting rid of some of my mugs when I was downsizing because I had a lot for the 60th anniversary and those were so cute.
Do you have any tips on staying motivated? And I love my mugs so much, if I ever got rid of some I’m sure I’d regret it too! 💚
My family and I have gone several times, most recently this past October. Here are my top tips:
1) book as soon as you know you want to go, the closer to Halloween the busier it gets. Weekends are pretty busy too and can sell out on certain days.
2) you can arrive up to 3 hours before the event... we usually have a lazy morning and relax before getting ready to arrive early to enjoy some rides before the event actually starts. Side note, cast members will start a line outside the park entrance to seperate the Halloween party guests from the regular MK guest that day.
3) costumes - don't wear a costume that is too hot or fussy. Plus Disney has rules on costumes for the party on their website. My first party my husband and I with my 3 year old son decided to be Batman, robin and bat girl. I literally was dying of heat in that pleather costume. Next times our costumes were appropriate for the October heat/ Florida weather.
4) enjoy the moment, there is plenty of time for rides, parade (2 times a night), trick or treating and character meet and greats.
Bonus tip 😁 wait till later in the night to meet some of those characters the line tends to get smaller later at night. But if there is a character you really want to meet just be aware there can be long lines first thing when the event starts and depending on how busy it is when you go. Hope this helps!
This is such great advice, thank you so much! We will definitely be keeping all of that in mind when we go in September! 🎃
