I said nearly because there was no TV and internet at the time. You don't have access to all tricks before your time at the time.
This is not ALL that Pele did first, there's lots and lots more! Mind bending powerful shots that curved were done by Pele before Roberto Carlos, watch the 1970 highlights against Romania, Pele's display of sheer power and accuracy.
And imagine how many amazing plays weren’t even filmed. Remember he was playing with a way heavier ball and really hard boots, also the field had harsh grass
He did all the roles of a winger, midfielder and playmaker singlehandedly as a striker. He is definitely the (G.O.A.T) Greatest Of All Time. R.I.P Legend!
If I tell you he played as a GK as well you'll be nuts (4 official matches- 0 goals conceded) (7 with unnoficial matches-1goal conceded and the guy was face to face with him). There are actually some footage of him as a 50 years old taking some penalty kicks and honestly he dives and was a better goal keeper than Kepa. João Saldanha the Brazillian coach of 1969 once said. "he is our best striker, best midfielder and best defender... Hell he must even be our best goalkeeper if we put him there". And the reasons for why he was a good GK? he told the journalists once that when he was playing for fun or on some trainings they putted him on Goal because according to him the others tought it was unfair if he played on the line, the man must've trained more as a goal keeper than a striker LOL
@@ssbarg300 that's right, people say it's Messi or Maradona or CR7, but the debate ended when Messi proved that someone can replicate what Maradona did (they have the same style, same skills and everything) but Messi is just a little bit better... For Pelé, well no one ever play the same way as he did and not on every position. He is indeed the best and greatest player. But praises to Mess, Maradona and CR7... They were the closest to ever reach Pelé. 1- Pelé 2- Messi 3- Maradona 4- CR7
@@luccavalentinw.fiorini2302 actually i disagree with your ranking my ranking is 1- Pele 2- maradona 3-Ronaldo(r9 not cristiano) 4-Messi because i think what r9 did is way better than what cristiano and messi did and i dont agree on messi being better than maradona i think maradona is a little bit better
@@ssbarg300 I mean, it's really debatable... If I would choose R9 or CR7 on peak I would also go for R9, and if It wasn't for his injuries he would be easily better and greater than CR7 and maybe Messi (his passing skills were not as goos as Messi). But sadly we need to take the injuries on the end to analyze his career and even with his 2 career ending injuries he still is TOP 10 of history and maybe top 5 (some consider Cruyff/Puskas or Di Stefano). So his longevity was reduced due to that... If he was fine for his whole career, more than 800 goals for him would be fairly easy. And for Maradona and Messi is also a good debate, since both were them played practically the same way on every department of the field. Messi is like a copy-paste from Maradona, but his numbers and trophies are greater and better so this is why I'm inclined towards Messi instead of Maradona, but it's undenyable that Maradona was also a generational genius that also had drug problems that reduced his longevity that could be far greater. As for CR7 I really have a tought time to figure it out where he is located... Sometimes I put him on 3rd,4th or even 5th (not below this) since his longevity, numbers, records and titles are awesome, but he doesent have a WC like Messi, Maradona, R9 or Pelé, and his peak was "worst" than all of these 4. So in the end for me it's just Pelé that is clearly greater and better than all the others and Messi is a 2nd place but still clearly bellow Pelé. And then the other 3 struggle to fight for the 3rd post since they all have pros and cons to these positions. 1- Pelé 2-Messi 3-Maradona/CR7/Ronaldo depending of the parameter
The real G.O.A.T. I did not see him playing but the few videos of his games that i saw made see how special he was and he was the most complete player (dribbling, great head, great right foot, great left foot, great passes). He did it all almost 50 years ago.

The two things I like about Pele's football are first, he has been consistent for about 19 years, second he nearly created all these excellent moves. I said nearly because there was no TV and internet at the time. You don't have access to all tricks before your time at the time.
1:44 I love how the defender who got completely fooled by Pele applauded the goal after.
That’s a masterpiece this video. 🫶🏼
Pelé 👑
Undoubtedly, He is the King of Football 👑⚽
Nobody can ever beat this Legend.
This is not ALL that Pele did first, there's lots and lots more! Mind bending powerful shots that curved were done by Pele before Roberto Carlos, watch the 1970 highlights against Romania, Pele's display of sheer power and accuracy.
Pele was the greatest player the world has ever seen , and his life will continue to be an inspiration to millions of people around the world
Number one . Legend .Amazing.PELE.
And imagine how many amazing plays weren’t even filmed. Remember he was playing with a way heavier ball and really hard boots, also the field had harsh grass
unbelievable! Every trick they laud these modern legends for this man was doing 60 years ago. The definition of the GOAT.
@@luccavalentinw.fiorini2302 im not too suprised because he was THE greatest footballer of all time and still is and ever will be no matter what
@@ssbarg300 that's right, people say it's Messi or Maradona or CR7, but the debate ended when Messi proved that someone can replicate what Maradona did (they have the same style, same skills and everything) but Messi is just a little bit better...
For Pelé, well no one ever play the same way as he did and not on every position. He is indeed the best and greatest player.
But praises to Mess, Maradona and CR7... They were the closest to ever reach Pelé.
1- Pelé
2- Messi
3- Maradona
4- CR7
@@luccavalentinw.fiorini2302 actually i disagree with your ranking my ranking is
1- Pele
2- maradona
3-Ronaldo(r9 not cristiano)
4-Messi
because i think what r9 did is way better than what cristiano and messi did and i dont agree on messi being better than maradona i think maradona is a little bit better
1- Pelé
2-Messi
3-Maradona/CR7/Ronaldo depending of the parameter
Today's players stand on the shoulders of Pele.
The real G.O.A.T. I did not see him playing but the few videos of his games that i saw made see how special he was and he was the most complete player (dribbling, great head, great right foot, great left foot, great passes). He did it all almost 50 years ago.
Pelé will forever be the king!
Imagine how it's to be someone who will be forever remembered in all the human history.
All legends want to wear shirt 10 because of 1 Pele ,what an icon
Rest in peace the King Pele ,
We will remember you always.
The GOAT! The king! The god of football! The perfect ambassador of football! RIP Pele!
Yes, he was today's players teacher. He DID it FIRST. The ONLY. The best. The Greatest ever! RIP King Pele!
Único e incomparável. The King Pelé 🇧🇷
He did it first, Pele is the true best of all time, the king of football
HE was, HE is and HE will be THE legend of football. RIP Pele we will miss you.
When they say football, “PELE” is the only player that comes first in my mind. ❤️ Truly Inspirational to millions and millions.
Rest In Peace God of Football. 🪦🪦
There’s only one true GOAT 🐐 of football and his name is Pele, RIP 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👑👑👑
Pele you were my hero. When I read you’re bio it put into words how I felt about football. I want to personally thank you for bringing football to the US like it is today. Creating a game of craft, and showing that playing with a ball is an art and not just running with a ball and scoring. Thanks Edson for putting it into words🙏❤
Did he bring to the u.s?
@@wowok8375 He went to the New York Cosmos football club after Santos and retired there
@@wowok8375 he helped football become popular in the whole world but the only club he played outside of brazil was an american club
The real king of football RIP Legend
While multiple players did them, he did them all by himself. What a legend!
He was the true original. Inspired great players like neymar, Brazilian and Portuguese ronaldo, mbappe etc. Will always be a beacon of hope to every child with a dream. Adios o rei💯
At one point I thought they played in the same era but by the time Maradona was born (20 years after Pelé), Pelé had already won his first world cup and was going for the second 🥵👑. RIP Primero ⚽
He is the creator! All the others are skilled followers! RIP Pelé! Forever in our hearts!
Clearly THE legend. Forget these small players we have today. Pele had his own dimension he was playing in.
Ele pertencia a uma outra dimensão
Messi is no small. He sits at the same table as péle.
For me they are both the greatest of all time.
@@LEB-AGENT-00 people's opinions on the greatest of all time will forever change, but the First, will forever be the first. Pele was first to do it all, the creator of the #10 role. Creator of every dribble that Modern Football plays with. They all copy from the KING👑 PELE!🏆🏆🏆🇧🇷
@@LEB-AGENT-00 agreed messi is not small but to do it as the first and to revolutionise football in the form of WC, it will forever be only Pele. Thats a forever history lesson.
@@LEB-AGENT-00 no, He does not. Maradona maybe, Messi is bellow
Football lost its beautiful chapter
RIP king 'PELE'
🇮🇳❤️🇧🇷
No, the story goes on... the kids will now learn what was not spoken
Pele, the standard, original trail blazer that all who came after him stands on his legacy. He remains and will always be the King of football ⚽. I personally thank this great man for making the beautiful game what it is today. Almost every great moves by other great players at different times in history was already done by Pele and he still holds the World cup record that no one else has achieved. I will not waste my breath to compare Pele to any other footballer because they all try to measure up to him. Rest in peace 👑 and thank you for all you did for ⚽, the one and only 🐐
This is why Pele is the GOAT. Anymore can escape from Pele's shadow.
Wow, THE REAL AND ONLY GOAT 🐐! FOREVER A LEGEND 🎖️🏆⚽️⭐️
Rip pele he was mixture of all players....he was really only one.... 👍
*RIP Legend*
Plis newbies don't ever argue who the GOAT is...he invented all kinds of skills! King of football for a reason! RIP PELÈ.
We always had the term "GOAT", by his death we learned "The Original GOAT".
Rest in peace Legend.
every country on earth should have a football stadium named after Pele, he was and always will be a human treasure.
I am Brazilian but I think that is too much. Maybe a street or something.
@@mattvideoeditor Not too much at all. He deserves it.
@@marianneb3035 definitely too much. There are other ways to pay respects than to name a whole football stadium after him lol
Pele did nothing for humanity. Maybe Einstein, Julius Caesar, or Isaac Newton are better choices than a sport practician, don't you think?
Greatest of all time PELE 🙏
It's interesting that Pele never used to dance in his celebrations though, just an observation no offense
@@TheDYNAMITE001 You are right and I love Pele's celebration!
However, what does it matter? Each player celebrates as they wish. Are you more of a prejudiced person? I do not think so. Thus, you need to respect players who celebrate goals by dancing too. Football is a competitive sport, but for many people, it is also a joy. Pelé has always said this and supports Brazilian players who suffer racism when dancing. It's better to keep quiet for Brazilians and Pelé!
@Jota Efe I mean the difference is so clear, the teams are very distinct. The entitlement that comes with being regarded as football royalty has led to spoilt kids living in past glory
The footprints that Pele left for us to walk in will be here for a long time. May God Rest his soul in Eternal Peace!
El rey jamás igualado. Invento todas esas grandes jugadas que en la actualidad son realizadas por los plevellos de OREY. .
Desde Chile
Legendary is immortal ❤.
The Emperor of football, rest in peace🙏.
Pelé was, by far, the biggest athlete on all sports in the las 150 years. Folks literally stopped a fucking war in order to watch Santos of Pelé to play a match in Nigeria. We just can wonder what is to watch an athlete so above all others doing his thing.
The definition of *"GOAT"*.. RIP Legend.. 💙
Zidane + Cristiano Ronaldo + Messi + Ronaldo + Ronaldinho + many others = Almost Pelé.
He was too advanced for his era.
He was way ahead of his time, a truly great player RIP
He will be the king forever!! Pelé did all those tricks!! Back in that time, without cards, without substitutions, with shitty fields, shitty soccer balls, shitty training.. and we need to hear some clowns from now saying: "i would be better than Pelé if i played in that time". Just imagine if Pelé could play in nowadays...
One thing that nobody is saying:
He did without videos/highlights AND with a much heavier ball than today, without boots made for footbal with the best tecnology, in a field that much times was often bad for a football game.
And still he did all, from his mind. GOAT.
Football is a sport. With Pelé, it's Art.
Rest in peace king 🇸🇦❤️🇧🇷
He did it first with heavier footballs, heavier boots, heavier tackles and heavier pitches than the greats who came after him (Maradona 20 years later and Messi 50 years later).
What a beautiful tribute to the King Pelé! 👏 🇧🇷
A King never dies!
God bless the King of football! RIP Pelé!!!
Bcz of him football sport got a new direction, many players got inspired by goat Pele . The world is unpredictable 💔💔🐐🕊️
Pelé means PERFECTION, or the nearest a god can achieve.
how great he was. imagine a mixture of Ronaldo, Ney Jr, Zidane...... all the great players of our era in 1 player. Pele was the father of modern football.

Orgulho do Brasil
thanks GOD exists internet,
The FIFA's resume video makes look Pele old fashion and with no style but that is what they want.
thanks to you for making these kind of video, truly on point.
Pele did It with a heavy ball, heavy boots, heavy uniform and bad field... These things do ALL difference, the better soccer player of ALL time
He is god of football never going be another player like him!! RIP king
Rest in peace goat pelė u are a legend
Thank you enlightened me. My Respect for Pele has increased 10 fold.
Pele is not the one who did it first, he is The One who created it, everything.
Thou i admire cr7, but cr7 is a product of training, Pele is a natural talent.
Not only he had supreme creativity and willpower that made him 'the king of football', he had the most gentlemanly personality after his illustrious career. God doesn't make it like him anymore.
Mann I literally feel so disgusted by myself that I got carried away by the trends which aimed at trolling this legend. Those backyard goals and other shit stuff was so cruel; RIP KING 🥺
Glad you changed ❤
Some reckon he scored over 300 goals with his left foot! That's his bad foot, apparently.
There's no-one close. Pele was complete.
3 World Cups. 1250 career goals. Athlete of the Century award. Stopped a War....
No-one even close!
