The Sir Edward 'Weary' Dunlop Asialink Dinner is Asialink’s signature event celebrating achievements in advancing Australia’s engagement with Asia.
The highlight of the evening is the awarding of the Dunlop Asialink Medal, presented each year to an individual for outstanding achievement in improving Australia-Asia relations and enhancing the quality of life in the region.
The 2023 Dunlop Medallist is distinguished diplomat John McCarthy AO.
This year the annual Sir Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop Asia Lecture was delivered by Mr Adam Liaw, celebrity cook, writer, broadcaster, and former judge of the Asian-Australian Leadership Awards.
