I like this guy. He may not have all nba talent but when curry retires he can def make some all start teams. He a good one to semi pass the torch until the warriors get THAT GUY in the future. Maybe Kuminga and him + another all star level talent can help warriors contend for a long time but for championships they need a bonafide star.
If kuminga develops he would be the bonafide star, you’d probably just need to surround these guys with good three point shooters and keep the teams overall size at least decently big

I would put that lauri trade on hold until the trade deadline , podz and trayce value will go up, , lets see, podz is a leader , is agood shooter he just has to take more 3s and rebounds as good as lauri if not better..so i just want to see how these two looks in their second year before ship them away for a player who could do well or not in the system , kerr shoul give opportunities to the young guys anyways , for increasing their value and trade or to know who is a keeper...
I doubt they want to get rid of ANY of their young guys. Ainge wants Kuminga, Moody, AND Brandin and an army of picks, it’s a waste of the Warriors time and future. Brandin can definitely turn into an all-stat and triple double threat, Kuminga has the potential to be an average 20-22 points per game scorer + excellent defender and Trayce + Post shouldn’t be touched regardless. They need size and Trayce is a very, very athletic 6’10 big man at the 4 and Post is an excellent 7’1 center who plays almost identical to Lauri.

Unpopular opinion: Podz, while not athletically gifted as JK, is the better fit to the GSW system. If it comes down on Podz and JK for Lauri, I’ll keep Podz.
