BURY ME PJ!
I was so confused seeing your comment until it got to that part lol
I was gonna come down and apply for the giveaway but I think it's more fitting for you
vouch
Sean
Kinky 🤪😜
Oh my gosh PJ directed, filmed, AND made props?! What can’t he do
storyboarded and edited the video as well! he's a man with many talents
Honestly. He would be great in the film industry. NOT Hollyweird though, because they'd screw him over six ways to Sunday. Peej would make an amazing Indie filmmaker.
I've always WISHED I had an imagination like his. His art and endless creativity deserves WAY more recognition than a CZcams following. @@AIphaCentauri
@@AIphaCentauriI am sorry but it was my understanding that Fuji did the storyboarding ☝️ 😂
@@AnjoGalwdym WOULD? He is an indie filmmaker!
I can’t believe you got Phil to swear 27 times 😂
Phil's potty mouth is probably WAY worse than Dan's.
In a CHURCH too 😂
Phil likely swears off camera all the time, he’s just preferred not to swear on his channel because he had a young audience in the beginning
Exactly what I was gonna comment haha
Fun fact, I learned the other day that my partner's grandfather used to build coffins. Not to sell or anything, just for fun.
jeez that story took a turn
just had a weekend off and wanted to learn a new hobby
It does look quite fun…
King 👑
So did they just have a bunch of children's coffins laying around?
15 minute compilation of phil saying ‘what the fuck’ coming soon i hope
He swears in his personal life a lot lol just not on camera
you're in luck, Dan posted all 27 takes on his socials
@@sypersonifiedhe did?? Where??
not Dil's head arriving in a black rubbish bag 💀 the coffin looks so good, and the video was amazing! thanks for this fun peek into the BTS process.
can you imagine them taking that all the way to brighton with them?! imagine if it wasnt in a bag XD
@@Abbie1004 asfdgfd you're right AHAHAHA
1:45 _obsessed_ with Fuji having her own glass of water
she deserves the best
@@livheartsmatt fit for a queen
lmao that's the only way my cat will drink water as well. or from a rain puddle outside of course 😅
The fact that Dan and Phil's Sims themed funeral sketch was such a group effort is the most amazing thing ever lmaooo
kind of obsessed that the person playing Dil was never revealed… that head comes out and whoever puts it on is absorbed like that’s the end of them. it’s just Dil now
waiting for pj to post a part 2 called "building a machine that turns sims characters into real human beings for dan and phil"
its not an actor. thats Dil in the flesh.
my brain wants to say that it’s tomska for some reason but i’m probably 973% wrong lmao
Thank-you for being the, er, midwife to DanAndPhilGAMES rebirth 😊
Or would necromancer be more appropriate? 😂
😹😹😹😹 @@starsaur6664
I love the minimal explanation of who Dil is and we all automatically know exactly who he is 🤣I am just imagining people who don't know who Dil is 🤣
noooo who played Dil?? help 😅
Is it Chris???? Of crabstickz???? Or Felix????
@@becknicholson8882 it was dil
"do you want an imperfect coffin?! Did you not really love your loved ones!?"
Lmaooo i loved that
I love seeing little behind the scenes stuff like this. Feels like a throwback to special features on dvd menus.
Bonus Features really are a lost art. Remember when DVDs had games?
@@ThisUserIsNoLongerAvailableoh man i totally forgot about that
@@ThisUserIsNoLongerAvailableI will never stop complaining they got rid of the games lol the Harry Potter disks had amazing games
I was SO CONFIDENT Seán’s hair was a wig, props to Sylvia!!
Love that Dan and Phil have a better budget for hair than the Supernatural finale
The coffin should be donated to the national history museum as a national treasure
I was legit thinking to myself "damn nice coffin" while watching that video. Of course it was our beloved PJ
Literally, I was thinking the same 😂 like, how much did they spend on this coffin and where can I get one 😂
i actually thought they bought a cheap real one 😂
It just warms my heart to see how your friendship with them has continued in one way or another for all these years. Its nice for someone to know that they have someone to make a coffin for them when asked 🖤⚰
Well, PJ and Sophie are confirmed to be the best possible neighbours. They exit the house with a coffin and then just bring it back in to use as a Halloween prop. You get endless entertainment just by looking out the window from time to time :D
i forgot that dil head existed and i forgot how horrifying it is. thanks for keeping it ominously sitting the background, perfect reminder
I've only just started watching KickthePJ, but I've been watching Dan and Phil for ages. Now I'm curious, did PJ originally make the Dil head? I know it's been in existence for a while, but I must have missed the origin story of the Dil head.
@@ET13666I thiiiink it was part of the TATINOF set originally?
so i used to work for a funeral director - most coffins that get used these days, especially for cremations, are made of MDF with veneer on the top. So I would say that you probably aren't the first person to make themselves an MDF coffin! The mouldings you used look a lot like the ones we had on the coffins, I think they were nailed on though not hot glued lol. One thing I would say is that most coffins have a fabric lining (usually just cheap satin) and padding underneath to hold the body in place. Oh and little engraved metal name plates on the top and either end!
The green light above the Dil’s head is a small detail I didn’t notice but after rewatching I think that detail made Dil more ominous, I love it!!
My dad built a simple coffin with unfinished wood for Halloween one year and every year we let it “age naturally” by leaving it outside through the winter. Highly recommend.
Thank you for giving Phil the "What the fuck?!" line, it was superb!
This is way more fun and less depressing than thinking of those two rolling up to a coffin store and buying a real one 💀
Epic work, PJ and Sophie! But I gotta say, Fuji is an amazing project manager!
sean KILLED me with those line deliveries
i was NOT expecting you to have made that whole dang coffin!!! u never fail to impress me
just your normal weekend activity, building a coffin together.
also I'd love to know your neighbours thoughts when they look over the garden wall.
I think the best part about this production is that you can tell how much fun everyone had on the day! I've watched the video about 5 times now I'm obsessed with the way it was shot, when I was watching it I thought it looked fun to shoot but seeing the behind the scenes completely surpassed what I was expecting!!! every one of you smashed it out the park u should all be super proud of yourselves
I feel like the other shoppers would’ve been *so confused* if they were close enough to see this young couple at the hardware store with a sketched diagram of a coffin, picking out wood samples while filming themselves and being all bright and cheerful… 😆
The lid took quite a beating, what an amazing job.
Thanks for showing us the behind the scenes.
Well done Sophie for being Dil 🥰
Sophie didn't play Dil, she's moving around the set when they're filming the scene with the lid and the hands don't look like Sophies - but I AM very curious who DID play him :D They all did an amazing job indeed!
@@kohakublubb oh, I thought she pushed the lid off! My bad
I honestly though the boys rented a coffin for the video. It looks so amazing!
lol do you think there are many coffin rental places?
@@luchts4547 no, but prop rental places probability have one. Also, aren't some Halloween decorations rentable?
i knew that the "daddies" was your voice haha amazing work! love the practical green light effect!
i’ve been so curious about the coffin as soon as their video aired thankyou pj
I’m so happy to hear dans wheeze laugh again. I’ve missed him
The coffin transition went straight into a B&Q ad for wooden flooring 💀
I absolutely lost it at "It is a service we provide" 😂
I KNEW I RECOGNIZED YOUR VOICE IN THE VIDEO!!!! Seriously though, PJ, you did an amazing job on the coffin and in the director's chair. I have rewatched the Dan and Phil video more than a few times now because I just enjoyed the seeing the story unfold, and I would have watched this video so much sooner had I realized that it was actually full of behind the scenes footage. You, Sophie (Sofie?), Phil, and Dan all have such a great rapport on camera, I really hope that we will get to see more of you all collaborating in future videos!
Love that everyone on the set seemed to be having the best time, giggling and goofing around.
PJ is so freaking cool dude seeing the creative process like this is so amazing too, from directing to building the coffin himself to voicing dil hes a master
pj is such a visionary. i love seeing the behind the scenes process, it must be so fun having creative friends lol too bad i was too nervous and self-conscious for theatre
Fuji is a good coffin building supervisor
omg it’s chloe !!! omg !!!!
@@zara.1212 omg zara it’s you!!
i haven’t watched pj in many MANY years… i forgot how much i was in love with him and his content style 😭
I kinda wanna see Dan and Phil doing some wood craft (no that's NOT a euphemism) while PJ and Sophie watch and instruct them. Assemble an IKEA furniture with these four adorable people? Please
PJ's neighbours if they ever were able to peek in the garden: is that a coffin 💀
9:35 of course dan wanted that take 😂😂
Oh my god, having just watched the D&PGames video, knowing this was a Sophie + PJ creation all throughout has me dead.
A seriously beautiful creation. I love this so much.
I am humbly requesting a compilation of all 27 takes of phil cursing
I love mixed use of practical and special effects! It provides such nice results compared to just using one or the other
Probably one of the best texts you could receive.... Hi mate, can you make me a coffin. Tah 😅
everyone involved were literally the PERFECT people for the job, you guys all did incredible! the video came out soso good, and its fun to see behind the scenes too so thank you, PJ!
Love how Fuji is always so helpful
PJ this was insanely freaking incredible you did such a phenomenal job on making this for Dan and Phil amazing job on the making of the coffin as well and seeing Sean helping with this is so freaking cool.
I love seeing you craft unique things. And I don't think I've laughed to the point of coughing as much as watching this. Well done, PJ.
“oh my god, that’s jacksepticeye, what’s going on” is exactly what i felt watching that video, thank you dan
you are the reason I became a production designer and you continue to inspire me to this day, thank you man I owe such a big part of my life to you
It looks so epic !!! Well done pj !!!! Genuinely thought it was real !!!
truly a cinematic masterpiece, great job PJ and team!!
such a cool bts, thanks Peej
Okay but that coffin could make an awesome shelf once you’re done 👀
This is incredible. My Dan and Phil childhood and filmmaking passion in one video. Thank you PJ 😊❤
Imagine having a friend like PJ, where you could just be like, “hey I need a coffin. can you build one?” And, having never built a coffin before, they come through
what an incredible production and an even better team!
i’m excited that you are involved ! you put so much of yourself in everything you do and i am getting emotional even writing that ! thank you pj (and sophie) for this huge project ! you went above and beyond expectations
This was so interesting to watch, always love to see what goes into these sketches and watching the building of the coffin was really cool
it was a fantastic video, i had hoped you would post some kind of bts like this!! great work all around by you and sophie and everyone!
It's so cool to see the way the practical effects were done. I think they often give something to the shot that digital effects just dont.
It's so fun seeing all the work and time that went into making that video!! The creativity! The talent! The wood grain paint technique! I love it
I adored watching this! You are so creative and it's just such a blessing to see your work. Thank you for sharing your process, and for the behind the scenes footage as well!
This was brilliant, thank you!! Really glad I got to hear Father Jack say "Great Scott!" it made the back to the future nerd in me extremely happy 😁
Congrats on being one of the million ppl to build props in your backyard, you are not alone lol I loved the green stage light! You did an amazing job directing.
It was so much fun to see how you made it, thank you for filming it!
this was such an unbelievably fun video - from the coffin-building to the behind-the-scenes shenanigans to all the fun facts!! thank you for this gem of incredible content! :')
I love watching you build things, this was such a fun look at the process!
Peej you are so fricking talented 💗 incredible work
I loved this skit so much, so many kings worked on it
I was hoping for some behind the scenes of Dan & Phil's video. Thank you for this. You did an awesome job all the way around!
It’s really awesome knowing you had such a great big part in this project!!
This was so fun, thanks for sharing. You did great and I love all your collabs together!
this is soo cool I love love hearing about how u got certain effects at the end there!!! using the green light for the plumbob looked so good!!
pj you and sophie’s artistry and talent will never fail to blow me away, you two are so talented and creative i’m so glad you worked on this shoot it turned out absolutely amazing!
Always awesome to see you make stuff. Extra cool that you could get involved in making this sketch/short film into a beautiful, hilarious video. Excellent job PJ, Sophie, and everyone else involved behind the scenes!
SO MUCH JOY BEING HAD, I love seeing you all having fun in your jobs. This collaboration is also phenomenal. Absolutely amazing
Hey pj!! Its been a while since ive watched one of your vids, but its so fun to see how your editing style (and you) have evolved over the years. Thank you for creating this fun little project!! And lovely to be back seeing you.
I absolutely loved seeing the process how you made the coffin and later on the production of the video with everyone! It looks like it was such a fun project with friends. And it turned out iconic!!
this is so beautiful thank you for contributing to this masterpiece
i love watching behind the scenes stuff :) great job pj and team
This video was so much fun to watch! This was a lovely mood-lifter after a difficult day. Thank you PJ 💜
I love how serious PJ is about all the funny bits
I love this whole team working together! It makes me so happy
clipping sean saying i blame the gays. Lol. Losing my mind this was so funny. Thank you for catching these little behind the scenes and for making such a nice coffin.
i love how your house is so comfy and colourful. have you ever done a house tour? :0c
I would LOVE to know what the neighbours thought when you built a coffin in the garden. 😂
Your talent never ceases to amaze me Peej! I can’t wait to see any animation or art or films you do in the future!
This look behind the scenes was super cool!
The title alone sounds like a death threat
thanks for this video, peej! it's been a rough time, and i really needed this! who knew a coffin-making video would do ;-)
Omg this is so cool to learn more about, loved the video and this one!!
Loved the behind the scenes tidbits so fun to see
