Great video, as always. The production details on the game look awesome. My only concern is that the business model or rather, how it may be executed: free-to-play games can very easily become pay-to-win if not enough care is put into the design and how it relates to the business model.
Yes, I understand. I've seen that happen way too often. I won't be surprised if the game ends up being pay to win. There has not been a confirmation on an English release yet. I think it will depend on the success of launch.
Free to play usually means pay to win.
Or ads.
I would rather pay $100 for a great creature capture game.
Looks cool though.
I rather pay up front for a quality game too. Free to play games tend to design the game to pressure players to constantly spend.
wow,it looks so good, the animations, creature design and world are top.
Yes, I love it when game studios do what The Pokémon Company should have already done.
Hey, I am actually trying to also build my 3d monster taming game, now I have new competition...
There are other 3D monster taming games coming too. I've got a playlist on my channel for 3D monster taming games.
ANY chance it’s localized for the west though? 👀
I'm not sure, but I'm hopeful since this new installment seems to be a much bigger deal than the previous games.
😮
Seems like a genshin impact style game
So high chances it's gacha
I was excited until you said free to play. I don't like ads or microtransactions stuffed in my games.
Do you think Roco Kingdom has a future shot at a Top 5 position in the monster taming genre?
yes
If they change the pokeball and have a unique story
@@johnclarke343 The Pokeball is call. I love games like this because the better they get the more pressure on Gamefreak to do better as well. And I doubt anyone will be unhappy with better Pokemon games.
