And ya the 2137 J-Red was identical to the 2550’s. 42cc great all around saws and really wake up with a muff mod and better chain plus those ones you can swap on 7 tooth sprocket in .325” chain from a Husky 41. That REALLY helps out the non anti vibe saws to make them cut smoother.
i just got that comment the jreds 2036/2040 are the same as the husqvarna 136 /140 based on the poulan 2500 family but the big difference are they have a plated bore, Forge piston crank and better anti vibe
I like those anti-vibe saws in that chassis. What model is that J-Red? 2137? If so back when I was a Jonsered dealer that was the first saw I sold. Made by Poulan or Poulan design anyway and when they first came out the crank shaft was breaking. The clutch drum would fall right off. Something to do with bad heat treating process I believe is why.
