The song's title "In Memoriam" is enough to indicate why. Five years ago, Böhmer's father took his own life, creating a tidal wave of pain for his son. Making music helped Böhmer process this sorrow, turning it into the dually gorgeous and haunting opening track from his debut album Breathing, released in late November via Anjunadeep.

Just wanted to point out, that the first time I listened to this set, was when COVID was about to break, in March last year. It's amazing, how music can connect you with different memories in time.
I must say this hasn't been an easy time, though, listening today again to this set, reminded me of everything we've been through since COVID.
Besides all that, an amazing set by Böhmer.

I will say this from a break up to loosing a few friends to overdoses this set has brought me through some of my most difficult times. Years of joy and sadness mixed with chill bumps and tingles from deep inside my soul. This is absolutely how music should be. Thanks Ben for your dedication and vision. This set is incredible....
