Hello, I have the ford ecoboost and this doesn’t work for my radio it doesn’t reset it. I’ve hold it down for 20 seconds and nothing happens, are you able to help?
Please check your headunit version this should work with all sync 3 systems. If not refer to owners manual.

How do i get apple car play to work?
If carplay is enabled in vehicle plug supported cable In and it should show on home screen
Is there a way to manual reset the settings? My system keeps freezing when I try to reset the settings.
Holding volume button is a manual reset but sounds like you got physical issues. Best to take it to a local specialist.
Thanks for the video! What if I want to simply restart the Sync, without actually resetting any settings, similar to just turning the car off and back on (but without turning off the car of course). Is there a way to do that?
Hold volume button in which is power button. Will turn off and then you can turn on

Sometimes an update from the settings menu can fix the issue causing your unit to freeze. Try it and let me know how you get on
Hi is this still the same way to reboot for a sync 3 in a 66plate focus?? Please help mines just frozen & cannot fathom it!! It won’t let me connect my phone or enable Bluetooth at all.
Hi yes it should be the same for all sync 3 units. If yours is still not working I’d recommend unplugging the Headunit and seeing if it fixes issue.

Hi, my sync3 won't do app link, the screen starts to change for a split second then reverts to regular screen. I've checked compatibility of phone and done all updates etc. Got any advice please?
@@philsheldon2737 app link? Can you explain a bit more? I had to change the whole unit sadly. I found a guy on eBay who sold me the whole unit for far cheaper than Ford would & I had Ford to fit it & it’s fine now
