Dagoth Ur goes over each Daedric artifact gives by the False Daedric God. He'll be diving into the rankings of each artifact, discussing their strengths and weaknesses, and providing some tips on how to best utilize them in the game. Dagoth Ur is not a big fan of the Daedra, but he does enjoy some of the artifacts, especially The Ring of Namira and the Skeleton Key. He's also a fan of Dawnbreaker and the Wabbajack surprisingly, even though he dislikes Sheogorath. This video idea won in the community poll and post, but it took a long time to get published. Thank you all for watching. It was made using Eleven Labs AI, and this Morrowind Skyrim trend has been amazing. Thank you for watching.

Idk why but I got Meridias beacon very early. At I think 8 or 10 and I refused to touch it Lol I left that mf in the barrel
That’s normal. Meridia’s Beacon spawns in a random boss chest at the start of the game, but at level 12 it relocates to the first boss chest you open after reaching level 12.
@@RandomCBRN This explains why I found it in a fucking Dwemer ruin... ...I HAD to pick it up I thought because when else would I actually see it again. idk
@@Aladayle For future playthroughs, if you go to Meridia's temple after leaving it behind she'll give you a map marker for whatever chest you left it in
@@RandomCBRN You don't even have to find it first, just go there when you reach lvl 12 and she tells you where it is.
@@KimberlyKjellberg well yes, that too
Lord Dagoth forgot the best part about Dawnbreaker and Spellbreaker, they look great together.
And just imagine them on a heavy armor dwemer dungeon delver RP with full dwemer armor
How can a God forget? What a grand and intoxicating innocence. He merely did not deem it important enough.
Yeah, makes one really feel like a paladin of good and justice. Purging the undead and nacromancers alike.
Dagoth Ur (the person)
Daddy Dagoth
As for Azura's star: the black variant should be considered A-tier at least though. The very fact that it's so easy to fill makes it so. Monsters with grand soul are not that ubiquitous. Bandits are though.
It also means screwing over Azura, which I am sure Lord Dagoth can appreciate.
Yeah but then you have to live with the fact that you soul trapped thousands of people, even with them being murderers, is still fucked up.
@@_Labyrinth_ It happens it happens, such is life with the Sixth House and the Tribe unmourned
@@Snickersnek Yes, corrupting Azura's Star honors the Sixth House and the Tribe Unmourned.
The fact that the Elder Scrolls Wiki is in the same order is a blessing of Dagoth Ur. Truly they honor the 6th house and the tribe unmourned
I wish we had videos like this back when Skyrim released. Could you imagine trying to look up an artifact Tier list and being educated by Lord Dagoth Ur for the very first time?
Now that would have been truly a grand and intoxicating prospect.
I still don't get why people hate Meridia's quest
The place is full of dead billiononaires, you'll be loaded by the end. The mage is challenging and has a dark souls 2nd form. Sword is and looks awesome then Meridia makes you a warrior of Light
Elon Musk must have been there
I think most people hate how it starts, and for someone who does vampire characters semi-frequently it's always "please go away meridia I'm not doing your quest this run".
At least with the other daedric quests of okay quality they aren't going out of their way to announce their presence at level ten every playthrough. It's more "please shut up Meridia" than people actually hating the quest at this point imo.
Would be more interesting if instead we had to listen to Dagoths Ur voice at the start of the quest every playthrough, then it'd be a banger
@@saber7534 Meridia is that one grandma who doesn't know she's being loud on the phone😂
If you're a vampire and you use Dawnbreaker, it damages you too when the random undead exploded as you slash them
That's the con basically
Unless you absorb magic (Necromage vampire+Atronach stone+Atronach perk) in which case, it's cool
Vampires take damage for dawnbreakers explosion, the final boss is fairly difficult if you're not doing a stealth archer build, the place is honestly a maze in some parts, her dialogue is 20x louder than the game itself. Dawnbreaker looks nice but I end up using silver weapons, less risk to any undead followers.
Dagoth underestimated Volendrung. Actually it is an artifact of dwemer origin. It belonged to the chief of the Rourken clan. He threw the hammer into the sky and it fell far to the west: in Hammerfell, the promised land of his clan.
Spellbreaker also belonged to him, the shield helped him defeat Shalidor when he and his clan crossed Skyrim.
No one knows how Malacath and Peryite got these artifacts, but it has nothing to do with orc manufacture.
Good Point
At least this is the story the dwemer want you to believe. As most of the ingame lore, this story is from an unreliable author.
The Oblivion paralyze version really was preferable, it felt more thematic to Malacath because beating a paralyzed target is humiliating or something like that. Also more practically it was just hilarious looking.
@@Suiseisexy In the same way mortals can ascend to godhood by taking the mantle of a god, physical objects created by mortal hands can be mantled by a portion Of a deity's divine power to become an artifact Of such god.
So that’s why the dwemer city volenfell is named as such. It’s where his hammer volendeung fell
This truly honors the sixth house and the tribe unmourned, lord Dagoth is gracing the false gods with attention. Truly a grand and intoxicating act.
A Dagoth Ur video where Dagoth Ur doesn't utter "What a grand and intoxicating innocence"?
What a grand and intoxicating innocence.
Sanguine Rose is clutch for having a brief tank to take agro. And his voice lines and appearance make him feel like having my own personal Scumdog from GWAR.
I thought Sanguine's rose was great, I used that thing as my main summoning weapon for the entire game when I got it
Sanguine's rose was great. I however, attempted to get through the stupid quest as quickly as possible.
you can use Spellbreaker to pass the ward spell task in the College questline
Best way to power up the ebony blade is to grab the stone power of the ritual stone. Unlike regular necromancy spells, it does not destroy the corpse afterwards, and a friend revived is a friend you can betray again and again. No better way to consign J’zargo to an eternity of torment.
Not my boy J'zargo
Fun fact about the whispering blade, the two argonians who give you the quest with the light house count as friends with you when you fight them for some reason, and the necromancy stone you can find by whiterun lets you revive someone completely for a limited time, friendship meter includded and when killed after that they dont become ash letting you wait and revive them again. Letting you obtain max whispering blade without killing any actual friends
How could you be friends with farm tools?
The Ebony Blade can be made quicker to upgrade its ability, there's a good handful of NPCs you can befriend who are also targets in the Dark Brotherhood questline. An iron ore here, some chopped wood there, an amulet over here and bam! So many friends to feed to the Ebony Blade.
Or a whole stronghold
Sanguine’s Rose is a must, if you are playing a robe mage. You get a tanky boi from Oblivion that also doubles as a useful damage sponge to keep your follower alive. Great artifact
I remember using the wabbajack to see how it played and it healed the enemy 3 times in a row
mace of molag bal and dawnbreaker become very fun to use after you enchant yourself 10,000% one handed damage gloves
Or just enchant a gear with Fortify Smithing (up to 50.000% should do it, careful how you resto loop)
Then upgrade the swords you want and boom they have permanent busted damage. No need for Fortify Damage enchant
@@keifujitora6587 Yep but I don't want to get anymore busted than 3k damage with melee weapons. My character is a mage and the insane damage I'm getting with 8k% fortify destruction pots is busted enough even on Legendary
Spellbreaker refreshes the ward every second, when combined with anything that makes your ward absorb magic you gain an indestructible ward, also it blocks dragon breath, best shield in the game
as a Dwemer Obsessed Breton Scholar I use Spellbreaker as part of my kit and I can confirm it blocks Dragon attacks with ease
This is the best vid you've done in a while. 9/10
I'm shocked that you didn't include the Black Star and put it in S tier, not because the black soul gem upgrade is all that useful, but I would have thought desecrating an artifact of Azura would be right up your alley, Lord Dagoth.
This was fantastic writing. Well done.
Thanks!
Mehrunes Razor is great, S tier for me
The Ebony Blade as well, it swings faster than other 2handed swords
Coupled with Ebony Mail and Ebony Plate Armor set you can be the next Edgy Swordsman Protagonist of Darkness, you can lose your eye and watch your significant other getting violated
Oh we all know that the Ebony Blade has some gains to do if it ever wants to b referred to as a "slab of steel" ;)
The ebony blade is actually great for vampire builds since they have no natural regeneration in sunlight.
But it doesn't weigh as much as a baby elephant and doesn't go "clang clang" either, so no.
@maomaomi543 perfect for me since I prefer light armor
With resto loop boosted smithing enchantment on a gear you can upgrade light armor to surpass heavy armor, making heavy armor useless
@beatemeyer1242 with fortify HP and fortify stamina regen enchanted necklace (resto loop boosted past 5000%) and 5 Amulets of Talos (shouts cooldown becomes 0)
Who cares if you're a vampire? Fire does nothing anymore
I wonder what powers Dagoth Urs Mask provide the wearer 🤔
I provides no power other than making the wearer look incredibly powerful and handsome. Dagoth Ur is too powerful to need his mask to provide power.
If Ghosts Of The Tribunal is to be believed, none. That godly power is all Dagoth, baby!
You will never find out N’Wah.
The wabbajack is really good for those draugr death overlords that show up out of nowhere form time to time and reck your shit at the end of a dungeon. It takes just about the same amount to time to kill any given enemy so it's not great for general combat, but if something shows up that's too strong for you to deal with you can just hit it with the wabbakack over and over again until it turns into a wheel of cheese
I love the humor in this especially the molag bal section
Sanguine rose is being underrated. You can get it VERY early and it allows to conjure an Expert level spell for free, multiple times. That is op in my book. Becomes useless in late game unless you don't spec into magic. Then it stays relevant.
It is also subject to the the conj perk, "Twin Souls". Double your fun!
Excellent videos, I have now watched so many today that I changed my plans. I was going to play some Oblivion, but after watching all this. I'm going with Morrowind instead.
I will say that my Dunmer conjurer uses the Sanguine Rose fairly often. She tries to honor the Sixth House and the Tribe Unmourned.
Best part of ring of nimera? Not only is 50 extra health more than what you can make as an enchanter you can wear the ring eat a corpse and take the ring off and still get the max health buff as you swap it out for another health boosting ring. Perfect for tanks
Don't NPCs complain about your bad breath though?
it's lame like all other items in Skyrim. The parts where Skyrim shines is "flashy" animations, action and set pieces.
I must be a sleeper for I must be dreaming to be this early to hear mighty lord dagoth
Ok, Ok, HOLD UP! How the hell did you get such an EXCELLENT voice for Dagoth Ur!?!? Sounds like the original voice actor! I've watched a lot of lore videos, but that voice is how this one stood out. How you DO this?
I had to do several takes. Eleven Labs AI
Thank you very much mi lord
3:57 joke's on you. I got got to Markarth by getting into a drinking contest with a cheerful breton fellow in Windhelm, passed out, and woke up in Markarth's temple of Dibella.
This video is the best thing to help a player decide what Daedric items to carry into battle.
And what to wear while battling.
My heavily modded character wearing a clown costume and carrying an ak- 47: "what's a daedric item?"
If only that were true bro.
Ehhhh... Skeleton Key is fine and all... except that one of the Capstone perks for lockpicking does the same thing, Lockpicking is one of those skills that are very easy to level without really trying, and the game buries you in lockpicks anyway. Unless you are really bad at the lock picking minigame, I'd honestly consider Skeleton Key D tier.
What a grand and intoxicating video to fall asleep too.
See you soon fellow dreamers.
no offense to our lord dagoth but putting sanguine rose in C tier is crazy to me. Being able to summon a dremora lord whenever you want has always come in clutch for me especially if im playing a warrior build who cant conjure, along with having one of the best quests in the game its an easy S tier for me.
Also, mask of clauvicus vile in F tier seems pretty harsh as well. The boost to speechcraft plus the 20% better prices is super useful and i always find myself carrying it in every playthrough.
Ikr having a summon that wears daedric armor and wields an enchanted daedric great sword at level 15 is totally awesome especially having Lydia or Jordis as a follower and yourself as another tank.
Didnt expect to have Dagoth Ur provide affirmation towards how funny the first Hangover is
Spellbreaker and it's quest are amazing
I haven’t enjoyed content like Dagoth Ur being a CZcamsr in a really long time, and I never even finished Morrowind
I sometimes feel like I'm the only one who likes the Dawnbreaker and its quest. I mean, yeah, after the 3rd or 4th time, you may want to get a mod to change her voice, but otherwise I love the weapon and the dungeon wasn't bad as far as basic Skyrim dungeons go. Plus the first time I got it was just as I was starting Dawnguard, so it worked out perfectly
Clavicus viles mask is actually really good, because it has like three buffs
My favorite house mod was accessed through the Dreamstride book, so I always rushed to complete that quest for a portable player home
I played the dreamstride mod I think
Mehrunes' Razor becomes S-Tier once you kill a dragon with it
Never thought I needed dagoth ur to say bonkers before
Dagoth Ur (The God), I am giving thanks that you achieved chim and entered our realm to give us these holy sermons. Truly, this pays homage to the sixth house and tribe unmourned.
Another 10+ minute by Daddy Dagoth??? It must be my birthday!!
It was mine when I posted it ironically 🤣
@@ZakeandZach oooooh! WELL HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY DAGOTH!!!
The whole part of Barbas is perfect, literally every player "fuck you he's my friend now, lets go adventure"
I murdered him by accident
7:04 considering that you can get 2 max level demoras with that conjuration perk (a level higher than a dremora lord) the sanguine rose if invested in can be quite amazing for conjurers
Awesome yes yes
The Infinium is MUCH higher if you read it from a bookshelf so it doesn’t disappear after one use.
Was about to go on a rant how you would dare place Azura's star so low, because I somehow didn't realize you were talking about the Skyrim artifacts and not the Morrowind ones. I never even got Azura's star in Skyrim, Black Star always, but in Morrowind Azura's star is SSS tier best artifact by far, like it's not even a competition.
honestly who doesn't get werewolf if only for the resistance to disease as a benefit sure the whole no restful sleep thing stinks but id rather that then constantly lugging around ingredients, potions to cure disease, or hit the nearest town to pray at a shrine.
Wood models boxes within boxes with canals and 5 story archways the outer part of the buildings cultured Granite inner rooms cultured marble walls floors and ceiling for pillar support without cement or rebar
Witchever lanterns have the strongest structural design after me sledge hammering them will be my design for buildings its gotta be able to support its own weight plus some so a wooden mallet would be the best testing tool
Mace of molagbal is deadric mace at level 1. Great synergy with the back star for powering all artifacs weapons or staffs. What is an alternative 1h weapon early game??
I really expected Namiras Ring to be a F or D tier for his list. Not many people use it, and the quest is obscure. Personally, I use it rarely in any of my builds...only really enjoying the lore behind it.
Shocked and kinda proud that it found itself so high up.
The ebony blade lacks in damage but it makes up for in heals. You heal as they lose health. So high Health characters are awesome with it. B tier.
The Ring that makes you a cannibal is my go-to ring in every single play through of Skyrim. It’s amazing for how easy it is to get
A wonderful sermon Lord Dagoth
Ebony mail unlocks at level 30. Dwarven armor after ancient knowledge is on par defence wise and can be enchanted with anything you wish.
I like the sanguine rose. I like the instant distraction daedra
The Sanguine Rose actually summons a stronger Dramora than the Conjure Dramora lord spell
Volendrung is like a deadric sword ar level 8 though. What is the alternative, maybe the longhammer.
Two handed build where you pair the ebony blade with the ebony mail. You melt enemies with the dps.
Look at little Goblin Junior. Gonna cry?
Mask of vile is deadric helm at level 8. What is an alternative defence raring??
The razor has the same insta kill effect in oblivion. Daddy Dagoth got it wrong on this one.
Namira’s Ring is a great way to help RP Bosmer ritual cannibalism.
Ah yes lord Dagoth's Sermon I have been awaiting for the opportunity to Honor the 6th House and tribe Unmourned thank you for invitation Lord Dagoth
Honestly, most of us probably just found Erandur a lot more fascinating than the Skull of Corruption, so betraying him for the item isn’t something a lot of us want to do. I myself used an exploit to get both the Savior’s hide and the Ring of Hircine just so that I could get Oblivion Walker without betraying Erandur.
Much epic, but what of Wuthgrud, the waraxe that helps kill elves?
That’s not a Daedric artifact bro that’s just Nordic racism endowed into an axe.
I dunno how they done it🤷♂️

Aren't the dremora from sanguine's rose slightly stronger than the dremora you can summon your self?

Why would Dagoth Ur for a "Daedric Artifact Skyrim Tier List" instead of a "Daedric Artifact Morrowind Tier List"?
What is the "Tribe Unmourned"?
The Dwemer
@@ZakeandZach make sense
whatabout the Black star of Azura (and its glitched effects?)
I know Dagoth-Ur is a Demigod and all but the usefulness of the Skeleton Key goes away once you unlock the "Unbreakable" Feat in Lockpicking.
This, to me, lowers the Skeleton Key down to A Tier.
But who is leveling lock picking that far ?!
@@yea754 Literally everyone who doesn't want to leave loot behind? Are you just abandoning all the locked doors and chests or something? Or deciding that backtracking through a dungeon five times to gather a bunch of miscellaneous keys is better than taking ten seconds to complete a very easy minigame?
Lord Dagoth is correct in the fact the Rueful Axe not being an artifact cause the achievement for collecting them all doesn’t count it as such. But in that respect, Lord Dagoth would need to rate Auriel’s Bow on this list too
Y’all are gonna hate me for this, but I honestly got more use out of the masque than I did barbus. An immortal dog with a New York accent is cool, but he gets in the way so often that it makes it hard to have him in your party. I’ve gotten so many great deals with the masque and got tons of money quick so I could afford all the houses with the masque.
Personally, I'm not huge on Dawnbreaker. My gripe is the fixed enchantment. The fear effect it cause is cool but I'm more use to putting a stronger fire enchantment on silver swords then putting that same enchantment on a sword equally as strong as Dawnbreaker. Nowadays, it's more of a decorative item in my homes.
Yeah, but giving it to Serana to use and watching her run around with her hair on fire always gives me the giggles...
Sanguines rose doesnt just summon deadra, it summons the strongest daedra in the game. The Dremora Valkynaz is even stronger than the Dremora Lord, and it works with the double conjuration perk.
Ebony blade kind of reminds me of Frostmourne from Warcraft.
Truly Lord Dagoth is the most beneficent God, for all the attention and generosity he gives to these false gods.
Imma be honest, Sanguine’s Rose is S tier imo because the daedra it summons is op as fuck through the whole game and is a problem ender in 90% of battles. At the VERY LEAST it’s the perfect distraction for enemies while you gain the advantage by bludgeoning them from behind as their busy dealing with the screaming claymore wielding demon in their face.
Welcome Nerevar.. to this place.. where ash yams are made.
How is the skeleton key S teir when normal lock picks do the same after a little leveling.
Technically, the Sanguine Rose DOES have potential to be pretty good, because it conjures a dremora lord, an expert level conjuration summon. might come in handy, but I will be sure to honor the sixth house and tribe unmourned by saying that i certainly agree that the rueful axe is not an artifact, its a random axe with a stamina enchantment on it, who even cares? Besides, the only way you can keep it is by killing Barbas which does NOT honor the sixth house and tribe unmourned.
You can actually summon higher dremoras with sanguines rose, even ones who are a lot stronger than the dremora lord.
@@beatemeyer1242 interesting and possibly insanely strong
@@chrisdubose9573i checked and you can summon a dremora valkynaz once you reach level 46.

Idk Azuras stars is pretty useful
Should be higher up.
It is incredibly useful when you pair it with soul tear.
Meridia is so god damn loud also, at least she always is in my game.
Okay, so the thing that a lot of people don't realize about Volendrung is that it has a quicker swing speed than standard Warhammers, and with high damage it absolutley will out-dps the other late game warhammers with infinite power attacks.
I think the Ohgma Infinium deserves at least B tier for the free power leveling.
Man where are the burns, he's just being helpful
the dark star is way more convenient than filling grands. the cannable ring and key are also really nice.
