I’m actually just getting started with Takeda and during my time with him, I discovered that you can cancel out of his F4 into Takeda’s throw right before you hit them. I also noticed in this video that Takeda’s enhanced shurikens can be held before detonation at 10:33 which was surprising because I haven’t gotten that far while using him.
Did u try to launch with takeda's throw ? Cause it doesnt work for me
@@anthonybulgheroni9716 try holding 1(square on PS) when I hold that button during the throw with a shuriken out it works.

This is awesome! This should really help me out as someone who is brand new to the game looking to learn Takeda and Ferra team I can’t wait to learn the game with this character as I had a lot of fun playing as this character when I was playing casually with him in X and wanting to learn this game and I have finally found a character that’s moves look badass and doesn’t seem like a character that will instantly become bad through patches but, we shall see.

The Takeda release wasn't even the same without a Ketchup and Mustard stream where we spend 4 hours picking apart the character and patch😢but thx so much for this video, you guys are amazing at what you do❤😊
Amazing video once again guys. Takeda looks just right, flashy and with tons of range but not braindead and you must outplay your opponent right with him. Ferra looks just right also, and that Ermac/Ferra meter tech is awesome! Also like no. 600!
Takeda and Ferra/Torr are so bad they should've stayed in X. Taven and Daegon would've been better.

Fun fact, you can cancel forward-4 into throw during it's first few frames. So... Why does Takeda have a Kara throw?

Serious question, how the heck are you guys holding the charged meter burn kunai while pressing the standing overhead button (4)? It’s opposite sides of the controller and seems super unintuitive. I get how the standing low works because it’s the button next to it. Thanks in advance

Is he hard to play? I played Geras in 11 and I am yet to find myself a main in 1, I kinda play Liu Kang and Ashrah but it doesn’t feel right
His Combos are definitely tricky, but mostly as he has so many different ways to confirm, it's a bit confusing as to what the optimals are. We'll all know in a few days 😂

It's not a paid ad. It's like every other early capture session we've ever done. We played it at evo, they let us record some of it, we thought we'd make a video while traveling to help people get an immediate idea on how to play.
