American Gangster: Josh Brolin truly wuz robbed of an Oscar Nomination.
Many complained about the long running time, but I think it had to be that way.
In order to give equal time to both Frank and Richie's stories. the HEAD SHOT scene is probably my fave in AG. The reaction shots of Frank's brothers afterwards was absolutley priceless.

Scarface= My all time favorite mob film, for the sheer camp and OTT acting of Pacino.

Know that u don't buy many older films on blu Puck, but YOU MUST GET The Godfather Saga. Looks and sounds fantastic.
    Haven't seen made.
Bought Mean Streets on blu a while back, haven't seen it in yrs.
Road to Perdition: One of the most crminally underrated Mob Films ever!
Cinematography by the late Conrad Hall, not Roger Deakins.
Miller's Crossing: LOL @ Gabriel Byne gettin his ass beat repeatedly in this movie.
Once Upon A Time in America=CLASSIC!

Nice selection of Mafia movies EJ. If you ever want to expand your collection and go for gangster films; try such films as Gangster #1, Layer Cake, Gomorrah, City Of God, Eastern Promises. Yakuza films from "Beat" Takashi, Takashi Miike and Kinji Fukasaku. There are tons of amazing gangster films out. Hope you had a Merry Christmas, buddy

The Untouchables: Wasn't crazy about Costner as Ness, plus the shootout with the fug kid in the stroller was a bit OTT. Andy Garcia + Sean Connery=AWESOME.
Billy Drago as Nitti was too odd a casting choice and the change in how he diest was ridiculous.
    And the films looked amazing.

A Bronx Tale: Great coming of age mob tale. How about the mess that kid who played DeNiro's son(as a teen) made of his real life? SMDH.
Bugsy: Still hoping for a blu release. With Dick Tracy coming, perhaps this one isn't too far behind?
Carlito's Way: Everytime I watch this movie, the ending pisses me off .
    I hate u Benny Blanco!
Casino: Probably one of my favorite blus and a film that has aged well IMHO.
Looks like it could've been done this decade easily.

The CRAP(oops I mean Departed): Know i'm i the mnority here, one of my least favorite of Scocese's mob films. Aside from Leo and the criminally underrated Ray Winesone as Mr. French, don't care much fo it.
:puts on hard hat and ducks:
Donnie Brasco: I miss THIS Johnny Depp, where did he go?
Godfather Saga: What more to say, oh wait in my mind the 3rd one doesn't exist.
Though Andy Garcia was bad ass.
Good Fellas: Mob classic, hasn't aged as well as Casino though.
