Rampage is one of the few MMA fighters I've thought could really make the transition to pro. wrestling. Glad to see him!

Kurt Angle was an Olympic gold medalist n world-class athlete. He coulda made the transition very quickly, not just cuz of his pedigree, but cuz of the competitive nature you have to have to be in that pedigree.

i remember when kurt was talking about getting into mma and was given tickets to a show by dana, once he saw it in person he didn't want any part of it. he may be a good wrestler but he doesn't have what it takes to be a real fighter. not knocking him though, most people don't have what it takes.

kurt is to damn old to try and be an MMA fighter... his neck has been broken so many times. He probably could of done it if he would of committed when he was younger, he is a world class wrestler dog.
If he was younger and uninjured, he could have been a top guy. The gulf between Olympic wrestling and NCAA wrestling is huge. Look at guys like Hendo, Joe Warren, Daniel Cormier,... they're all at the very top of the MMA. Had Angle committed himself young, he would have been just as good as those guys. Alot of mid-level NCAA guys have incredible success in the UFC, Angle is world class as a wrestler.

But you are not touching a former UFC champ and MMA veteran with one shot knockout power. Rampage could level the entire locker room at impact wreslting.

Hank Hill Kurt got offered a UFC contract while back before he went to WWE but he declined it. At that time UFC wasnt this big but still if Kurt would have trained like a pro MMA fighter im sure he had the potential to be 100 times better than Rampage.

Quinton would most likely win in a street fight, but I am not so sure he would win easily, because you have to remember that Kurt Angle won Olympic Gold medal in Greco Roman Wrestling in the 1996 summer Olympics in the100 kilo weight division.
So maybe Kurt would take Quinton in a fight, because in a street fight it's no referee, and Kurt could maybe manange to throw Quinton head first on the concrete etc. Do you see my point?
