Approximatelyhow long does a 10,8v 2ah battery last on this radio? Thank you in advance

surely the older version was better then since it accepted all battery platforms. I have a feeling people will shop around for second hand models of the old one

A lot of people will be ditching the older battery types as they just don't last as long (too many recharges etc), plus the new CXT batteries are becoming very popular. Hence them making a radio that supports CXT rather than legacy battery platforms.

great radio, but still wayyyyy too bassy and you cant turn it down which means it starts to sound awful after you get to volume 13-15 out of 30! I'm going to be modding mine with a passive crossover to allow me to turn it up without it sounding like a wet fart. Makita really should be addressing this issue with the radio. its been such a long standing issue with these radios, maybe the one and only problem they have!
