I feel like this performance conveyed what Francis Scott Keys was seeing. This battle was not the Whitney Houston, best anthem of all time, this was absolutely the most realistic portrayal of what that battle was, gritty and deep feelings. I can't explain it well.

Chris is a great songwriter, he has written many great songs for other artists then his wife talked him into start singing his own music and thank god she did. There's a video out there of when he was a songwriter on a cruise for songwriters and he sang "fool me again" and he blows you away with his vocals. This was before he became famous and one of my favorites by him although you cant really go wrong with any of his songs especially if its live, like his cover of james browns Its a Mans World...insane!
