Hey, a dutchie here. The situation at the amsterdam airport is teribble. It is like big in the news here, because they dont have enough workers. We had to wait 4 hours for security. But thankfully you got home!!

Hii, im from the Netherlands and at this moments its a disaster at Schiphol. They have too cancel flights and sometimes have too wait for hours!! Its all because they are understaffed

the SAME thing happened to me traveling to europe a couple weeks ago. on my way there my first flight to boston was delayed 6 hours so i missed my TWO connecting flights and had to reschedule them. i finally got rebooked after an hour and waited for the delayed boston flight. once i got to boston, i had to go out and back through security. then i asked the gate attendant if my bag made it since i’m having to switch flights and she said it was all good. then i took my next flight to london (after an hour delay and no AC sitting on the tarmac) and had to go BACK through security AGAIN once i got there. once i got to my gate in london i asked them to track it AGAIN and they said they had it. then we get on the plane and there’s a 30 min back up on the runway. FINALLY i fly to budapest on my last leg and finally get there. i go through customs (which took forever ofc) and get to baggage claim and my bag isn’t there. icing on the cake. ALSO forgot to mention i was traveling ALONE and was meeting a tour group. so not only was i stressed and crying but i had to meet 20 new strangers for the first time. after three days, i finally got my bag back in budapest an hour before we were going to leave for vienna. so that was fun. yeah international travel rn is the worst. and the airline never compensated me for losing my bag nor apologized at all.

omg wait the lost luggage reminded me of one of the first videos i've watched of sadie's where some luggage was stolen from her sister (if i remember correctly) during a trip??
hahah wow the fact that you were in Amsterdam for a day/night, I live near the airport! But yeah there have been a lot of problems with long waiting times and delayed flights in the airport for a while now sadly :(

Little Kook it's not actually a bar it's a Cafe and every season they decorate the whole area of the Cafe based on the season (especially on Christmas it's really beautiful it feels like you are in Santa's house lol)
