Homalomena is in the araceae family. Grows in SE Asia. I have the variety called "Selby" these plants need indirect bright light and are very thirsty. So a well draining soil is needed. Hope this helps. Enjoyed the video Marlena.

The dots are probably from extrafloral nectaries. EFN. it's normal. Also the one you thought might be stromanthe is a ctenanthe setosa. ❤️
