5 strings? As Viola CGDAE ? Or in reverse order? EADGC ? What of the left handed slope of the fingerboard,bridge and bus bR under the lowest pitched strings and the peg box. ?
Yes! Well I like to think they added the E string since it's a viola sized fiddle. I have to put a thicker e string on it so it doesn't break with the extra tension from the 15.5" scale length. A standard fiddle is a 14" scale length

As in viola with an E! So lowest is C
5 strings? Must have been major surgery on the pegbox to make room for yhe extra peg?
Not quite!! She was built this way - larger fingerboard and everything

Yes .jut string a fiddle as a viola as my 1/4 size cello is same tuning as my 4/4 cello. Handier for the bus/,train. 😊
