- This video highlights some of the best defensive plays from the 2022 Little League World Series.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.
If you’re looking for a place that can educate you with commentary on top of high quality edits, this is the place for you! I’ve covered Baseball (MLB, NCAA, LLWS), Football (NFL, NCAA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA), Hockey (NHL), Softball (NCAA), and much more!
I make my videos on the HP Spectre x360. I use Adobe Premiere Rush to edit, which allows me to commentate and efficiently splice up clips in a high quality way.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Unbelievable talent at such a young age . Congrats to all the coaches for a phenomenal job with these young men .
Hey I know right.
LL making big league plays.
Llws was so much more enjoyable with the usssa bats now all the bats r dead and kids cant even hit hommers
I've said it a few times, but that Italian kid is legit, he put the ENTIRE team on his back
the nicaragua and japan game was something else man
That Texas homer robbery was insane!
9:06 is the best defensive play in this entire video, Never celebrate too early
that Nicaragua shortstop is crazy🤯
Who’s your LLWS MVP? Some crazy talent on both Hawaii and Tennessee I’ll tell ya that🙌
There’s so many great players to choose from, but if I could only pick one I think I’d go with Jaron Lancaster from Hawaii. Both his hitting and pitching were a huge part of their run to the championship.
Davey Jay Rijke
Stunned by level of talent. Little league World Series comes close to March Madness in excitement. Would love to see them play in larger venues.
0:47 I love how the other coach gave the kid a high five after he made the play!
That catch was pretty crazy 😅 straight line at the 3rd baseman can’t ever sound fun to me 😂. I’ll lose a forehead
Wheels, thank you for all the work you did for this video and all the others during the tournament. Fantastic job.
El juego de pelota de los águilas y
Wheels great job on the whole LLWS!!
The lady’s face when the Tennessee player caught it to end the inning was priceless
Even if your losing you can still make some big fine plays. And that what they did, with a smile on there face.
The Nicaraguan shortstop has a cannon for an arm.
Curacao had the best defense by a pretty good margin… not to take anything away from some of the other teams. Hawaii just kept hitting bombs.
Hawaii outscored opponents 60 - 5
Lmao.
But caraco had the best defense.
By a pretty good margian
@@Island_proper Tbh we don't know a ton about the Hawaii defense cause their pitching limited the balls in play. Lancaster looked pretty smooth at short though
That first shortstop has a cannon. Little bro can smoke it.
4:30 this play was so funny 😂😂😂 how the announcer was saying”tag them tag them all” while the base runners were so confused 😂😂
Great video I was 20 on TN
Thank you Trent! Congratulations to you & your team on an amazing run to the LLWS Final Four!
T-rex in the house! Best pitcher to face Hawaii in the whole series
Beautiful job on the video… but we need this with the slow-mo replays!
Francesco Carlini was on fire!! 1:46
Bravo mis pequeños campeones, ustedes llevan el béisbol en la sangre suerte desde Cuba
Many of them from the Nicaragua-Japan fame. That’s insane!
2:11 Holy S! & 4:58 Grab little dude. 🇮🇹
Nicaragua’s and mexico’s shortstops🥶
These were so good. Those home run robberies were so sweet! That feeling must be amazing for those players! As always, Mahalo Wheels!!!
These kids have some amazing talent!
Those double plays are impressive!!! Very hard to do at this age.
In those cases I don't agree, in my league I used to practice double plays 3 times per week at that age and it wasn't hard, we even made a triple play in a normal game
Those fantastic guys 🫶🏼
Thumbs up to Wheels. I caught all of the posts of the LLWS. Great job.
Wow these kids are crazy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nicaraguas SS is special.
This is actually amazing🤙 awesome to watch
It’s crazy that the Japan vs Nicaragua went 10 innings
Baseball is life😊
0:34 definitely looks safe
I was thinking the same - playing it back
in slow motion, the runner already had his foot on the bag just as the ball is coming within inches of contact with the glove. There was also a several second delay before the Umpire actually made the call.
They replayed it he was out
What a great channel
Amazing plays
I want to see the LLWS take the best 2-3 players from each team from the US bracket and also from the International bracket and have them face off. So the best US team possible vs the best International team possible. I feel like that would be really interesting and fun to watch!
Hey that's a great idea.
I agree 100%, this would be totally awesom!!
Dude these kids are amazing, that throw by the short stop at :28 is a dart
The Canada pitcher is my friend so crazy seeing him in this
I was in the little league World Series Grayson May
Some great plays and a few questionable calls too.
Wish they showed a couple more replays
Its like watching major leaguers...in miniature.
That was fun.
I concur
You're the best Wheels!!!
5:50 Greyson is my best friend from Iowa
That was funny how you put defensive plays and let the announcers catch the ball😂
Carlinni is going to the show
Hey did you know that Corey for Texas play in my baseball organization C2
NICARAGUA in the house🤩🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮
They need to be in the mbl
We who watched all the games remember the replay that clearly shows the runner on third coming off the bag for an instant while getting up after sliding and was then tagged out by the third baseman who was hiding the ball in his glove. Would be nice if Wheels could edit this video to include that replay in addition to the tag at 9:21
I know, I would like to see it again.
I’m now calling Iowa the Oakland athletics
plz do this in the senior
HOLY CARLINI
A lot of the time these guys calling that the players are out before they reach second or third are just guessing. You can clearly see they are not out in some of those plays but those dudes have no idea and they just make blind guesses and no one questions them.
And sometimes they don’t clean the bases
I don't want to sound cynical or anything, but some of these are only ok and I have personally made a high percentage of these plays. But I am a pretty decent player so that is to be said.
5:50 not to be a stickler of the rule but they could have argued that the runner didn’t have a lane. It’s obvious with the replay
😯🤯
i know the person named cory on the texas the one who robbed a homerun he is my friends friend
These kids look like pros
Aye it’s Corey Jake and cooper
2:34 I did the same thing
2nd
2022 was all about offense and defense; remember, these are KIDS!
Some of these kids could stand up decently well against some major league guys.
MLB should shrink the infield, drastically
great talent but some of those dives where so unnecessary LOL
0:33 that wasnt safe?
Half of these probably shouldn’t have made the cut
Modern day 11/12 year olds are too much for the present diamond. It should be enlarged to 50' pitching distance/70' baselines, with the fences moved back proportionally.
Iiiiiiiiii❤
wassup
I play 8u baseball ⚾️ and hit 💣 bombs
Some dodgy out calls in this
Great job by the “12” year olds 😂
These umpire suck. Terrible calls at first to make highlights.
These kids suck 30 on the bump is crazy the swings are horrible and most of these are just coach pitch plays and the field is small
Half of these are literally the average play bruh🤣
