Hamlet is one of the more unique bosses in the game but unfortunately, you won't see this kind of mechanic in the weekly Pain Cage. It's only in his special mode.
However, I can recommend you Moon Devourer and Lady in the Red Tide as a good baseline for what WuWa bosses would be like. If you want more crazy bosses, then from Hanying's patch onwards, they're gonna get nutty.
If WuWa ever implement it, it will be "Confusion" debuff :v

I believe hard mechanics are always good, as long as you have in game tools to deal with it (wow veteran here, retail is requiring a lot of weakauras/ui packages and etc just to see a mechanic)

Black card deduction is just to confuse the player.
Some of the more thrilling fights in PGR would probably be Lamia, Radiant Marcher, Twins, Cradle, Dead Master, Nigel, and Ballard.
So if we can get something akin to those fights in WuWa I'd be even more excited than I already am.

Check out Madeira boss fight. It's a puppeteer and controls your characters and let them attack you.

But i think and hope how got focus the minor fights too(i mean against elite and common enemies), cuz its will be a ow game and we meet common fight more often than boss fights
Cuz in pgr some elite enemies too need to learn them own attack petern, but not as like as bosses what made how play attension on everything.
I have countless time when needed to restart wz just by i got hit and pushed me down or a enemy disgrouped and lost lot of sec which means lot of scores.
