I've got one good runner for a round town and I have a 300tdi for towing
Also as far as i can tell 750kg is the European maximum for trailers that don't have their own breaks, from my research (and what the owner's manual says) she can tow her own weight and more if there is an appropriate trailer and you get the car rolling in first low then switch over to high gears on the move. Power to weight ratio is actually pretty good, comparable to a lot of different models from the lada niva to some suzuki vitara models. It's geared differently from the rest of the discovery 1s though which is probably why it feels slower and weaker. I've been daily driving one for about a year and a half at this point and haven't yet found something she couldn't climb over.

They are pretty good off road as long as you are in low gears, she will happily go anywhere as long as she has traction on her wheels just not as fast as a v8 or diesel

Haha yes it is! 6.9k people have seen the thumbnail (not as many have clicked though) according to CZcams analytics, the equivalent of going to a show and having it parked there with thousands of people walking past 😂
