Don’t apologize! So glad you’re doing these. Even if the examples aren’t perfect I like hearing your thought process. I’m sure you have a plan but some topic ideas I’d love to see you cover: - Defending 9pool, 3v1, other rushes - Drone drilling - Sim city for each spawn/race - Defending cannon behind minerals - When to help your partners, counter, or stay home - BGH map nuances (ledges, chokes) - Early game micro/what beats what - Ideal openers based on team race combos (e.g., when to zeal vs goon)
Setting up f2-f4 hotkeys for macro areas and rally area is helpful. You can screen hotkey your rax, and another empty area, and just flip between them really quick to set a rally for a screen full of rax really quickly.
Thanks Azhi, i am just going to focus on my macro for next few games and see how it turns out for me.I never realized how important it is until you pointed it out. Any tips for new players playing Terran? Feels like its the hardest race for me because of the micro needed for terran units. I have to focus a lot on the battles which of course means my scv and army production slips big time leading to my downfall very quickly. Wondering if other players run into same issue or not with this race.
yeah for sure, as someone that plays all 3 races on a pretty large variety of maps, I can say Terran has always been the toughest and most technical for me. I consider myself a strong Terran, but if my macro slips with any race it's usually Terran. I briefly mentioned it in the video, but because of their units being cheap on top of short build times, there is much less window for error before you start getting punished. The main tip I would give is just don't be afraid to throw down a lot of extra production buildings when you're floating money. There is no shame in making more barracks/factories than needed while practicing your speed and multitasking.
The two options for macroing effectively while controlling your army are to either just pay close attention to the notification your units are done so you can queue up another round, or just cycling through EVERY single task very quickly: check scv production, check depot, check army, check scouting units, check production buildings etc. and just run the same "loop" nonstop until the game is over
hmm, I'm surprised I didn't talk about that any haha. It sorta just depends. I will purposely oversaturate my main by quite a bit, so that when I expand I can do a huge transfer without losing any income at my bases. I don't really have a number or indicator for when I stop. Just...whenever it feels right :P
Hey Azhi! I was always wondering how do you hotkey your units, the example you made in 7:20. In the Settings I managed to make hotkeys on my buildings and I can produce units faster but I can't find how do you select your marines and medics like that. Tysm in advance, I really appreciate your content.
Hey! Do you mean setting control groups? Like you select your army and hold ctrl + 1 (or whatever number you want to set them to). This will make it when you just press '1' it will select those units assigned to that control group. In this example I set '1' and '2' to only marines, and '3' to the medics. I think I will try to do a kind of general beginner tutorial video soon to include these types of things. Let me know if that's what you meant! :)
@@azhidahaki3082 Yeahh that's what I mean. I can't find how to set up these hotkeys. Can it be because I don't have StarCraft Remastered, I play with the default
I do :) Although lately I've been more of a ladder player, I still sneak in some BGH every now and then. Unfortunately I don't have much of a schedule, since I live/work on a farm it's a bit sporadic around here.

Thanks for this. Just now getting into Broodwar and I definitely let my team down in BGH
:( well hopefully I'm able to help you improve your game :D

Thabks for sharing!
I was wondering....when do you stop making workers?

@@azhidahaki3082 OKAY, I finally got it. I did the ctrl thing. I feel so stupid now haha. Thank you Azhi!
Not sure that you can support 3 facts constantly pumping at the beginning.
U still play ? Would like to watch a live stream of it
