Very unique background technique. I never get tired of watching you use many of the same stamps sets over and over again. So many people only create videos to show new stamps and goodies and not everyone can or wants to be buying new supplies on a continuous basis. You are a gem.
I have to agree that the second card is the best. The contrasting colour is just so stunning. Terrific techniques with minimal supplies - almost a getting back to "basics". Well done and much appreciated.
It's amazing the way you can make something out of virtually nothing, You are truly gifted. Ruth down under.
You always amazed us with all your uniqueness … impressive talents you have Natasha👏
Thanks for sharing with us🥰
Such basic cards with simple supplies. I love them both !!❤
You are positive proof we don’t need a lot of supplies to make beautiful cards! I thought the yellow card was pretty plain… but then you added the green sprigs! You never cease to inspire me! TY
Thanks again Natasha and every time i, 'tidy up' in my workroom, i develop yet more "piles'!!
Both cards are so neat. Your talent and creativity is amazing.
Oh I love this idea. I don’t have a lot of supplies as of yet, so it’s nice to get an idea that is really pretty but doesn’t need a bunch of different supplies. Thank you for sharing.
I really loved this video. You certainly know how to create a gorgeous card using almost nothing at all. Your talent is amazing. Thank you Natasha 😊 x
Just when I think you can’t get any simpler and the cards get cooler every time… love em’. I also constantly organize my supplies and rearrange stuff. My crafty space is tiny..we live in a motorhome since we travel for work :)
I love your cards! They're so bright and colorful. I really like the black edges on the cardstock behind your sentiments. That's a great way to use scraps instead of cutting up more and more paper. Thanks for sharing!!
I always like yr cards. I have lots of scraps that I need to sort & use. Its almost the weekend! Yay!!!!
Great quick cards! I keep 3 canning jars on my desk
# 1 is for card stock strips
# 2 is for any extras images, sentiments, die-cuts what ever.
#3 is for all the little bits of trash, Adhesive backings, fussy cutting bits etc
And I have 1 small container for any cardstock smaller than a 1/4 sheet (4 1/4 X 5 1/2)
Hi. I can only dream of being that organised.
Thank you for the great ideas!
You always claim to have limited supplies yet you introduce new stuff all the time !! I enjoy watching you create great cards x
I 'try' to do a mixture. I have my old faithful supplies, That I've used in 20/40/60/100 plus videos (and that doesn't count what I don't end up filming!) and then probably once every 5/6 weeks, I tend to grab a couple of stamp sets or die sets etc that i've had my eye on, or that I see a gap in my supplies for. That way, I try to get good value out of the supplies that i do purchase, but I also give myself the opportunity for new supplies to inspire me too, especially given that I produce a new video every other day (700 plus videos?). I have a very small crafting space, so if things don't get used or they don't work out the way I intended etc (or for whatever reason) then I pass them on, donate them, or give them away.
Hope that helps :)
Love the yellow one,wait I don’t like yellow.Well I like this card.
Lost and found. That’s my favourite way of card making even though it can be very frustrating.
Definitely drives me nuts.
Great cards! That yellow really makes the 2nd card.❤ You know how if you are going to organize, the experts say to 'purge' first? I usually get distracted because I find something I forgot I had! I don't have lots of supplies, I just forgot where I put them because I have moved that pile more than a couple of times. Now it's back where it started and it's like Christmas again! I long for the day when I don't have to take all my supplies out, then put them all back again after each use. 🙄🌞
I am short on storage also. In the last couple years I have acquired some tools, dies & stamps. I arranged a corner in my living room to hold a medium size bookcase with adjustable shelves. This is wood & looks nice here. I have worked at finding low cost plastic boxes & drawers that fit on the shelves & are an appropriate size to hold the items sorted & labeled for contents. They have neatly stacked & fit side by side on the bookcase for me. I tried to put things like embellishments, stamp sheets & dies in the drawers. The things like acrylic paints, ribbon, gems etc. That I will want to have my choices beside me when I am creating a project I put in plastic containers with lids so they can stack & I can take the entire tub to my work station to use as I am working. Then these tubs/boxes can be returned to the shelves when I am finished with them. This saves me shuffling through piles of mixed supplies each time I want to make something. I buy some containers from thrift stores, some on sale at craft/discount stores. I wash all of these when I bring them home before using them. I keep the dimensions for what I need to fit in a space or hold a certain group of items with me on my phone notes & I carry a slim measuring tape in my purse to check. One tip here that has caused me problems is the bottom of stacked containers are smaller than the top so they can ship in stacks. So beware to measure the minimal distance width & length at the bottom also. Also look for items designed with the lid fitting close to bottom sides. The larger lids cut down on how much space you have to fit drawers & containers side by side on a shelf. Just sharing some things I have learned didn't work right when I put it all together on the bookcase. I need to tell you that it is wonderful not to need to open three containers to see what' in there everytime I need something different. Takes awhile to get onto selecting proper functional storage containers suitable for what you need to do. Crafting is so much more fun when you don't hunt your scissors & ruler before you can start your project. Experience speaks volumes. See you at Goodwill! Retail therapy!
This lass never fails to amaze😉
I adore listening to your descriptions; the way you comment on your choices makes me smile and say, “Yes, me too!” It’s always fun to watch your videos.
I love that you show several simple methods to make cards that really pop without having to buy fancy special supplies!
I’m always amazed at ur thought process. U have so many wonderful ideas. Thank u.
Always love your projects. Very talented lady.
Wonderful simple but effective thanks. I love how you encourage to use what one has!
I have a tray I put my scraps in, various sizes. Then, when I have plenty, I ban myself from starting anything from scratch until I’ve used as many of them as I can. Gets my creativity going. I have some fails but also some new ideas
When I saw the rock wall look it made me think of giraffes. I love giraffes. I have more than 100 in my home made in so many ways. I have pictures, glass, stuffed like teddy bears, ceramic, wood, plastic, blankets, pillows. Probably more. I think I will copy card using giraffe theme. Thanks for the inspiration.
Like them both and easy and clever.Thx Tash Happy Easter
Oh my gosh this second card is awesome. Well the first card I like also. How on earth do you come up with this simple but very effective card ideas? You’re the best Natash.
You are one of my favorites. I love seeing your kids working by you. I too would love to see your space. I am dealing with a small area to craft in and looking for small space ideas.
You come up with the most interesting ideas. I love them.
Yes I shuffle all the time! More great cards thank you x
These are so cute
Another great card
Hope alls well in your neck of the woods
Stay safe
Your are right Natasha. The yellow card just popped on the white. Thank you.
Hallo, das sind zwei wunderschöne Karten mit einfachen Mitteln, aber Hingucker. Danke fürs zeigen. LG Marita
Like them both but the yellow one is my favourite! Thank you for sharing
Hi Natasha
Beautiful cards , I move my scraps about all the time waiting for inspiration!! Thank you for all your great videos.
Loved this video ..They are great cards and great idea's as sometimes it's nice to do a card that does not take a lot of supplies and so much time ..Thankyou 🤍
I love watching and trying your videos, thanks for sharing such a variety!! 😊
You are so creative! And I keep saying that I LOVE your channel because you always encourage your viewers to use what they have, you do not suggest in any way for your viewers to go out and spend $ they might not have. Blessings!!
Wow! You again have giving me lots of ideas! Thank you.
Pile shuffling is a hobby for me! LOL 😂 I do sometimes forget where things are though! Love your fast simple cards! Good reminder that we don’t have to have “all the things” to make lovely cards. Thank you for sharing 😊
It's a hobby within itself isn't it! lol!
Wow Natasha another fabulous card video love the simplicity of these backgrounds cheers Jackie from Oz 😊
I also move stuff around...until I get real tired then I find such a good place I forget where I put it when I need it...could be just cuz I'm old,lol
Hi. Yep, I know exactly what you mean and it's with everything, not just crafting items. 😆
Yes...I move things around all the time. Just today I was looking for my stencils and forgot I had moved them to a 3 ring binder about 2 months ago. Panic! Oh No, where did I put them!!! Found them about 5 minutes later after tearing my shelf apart! LOL!! You are NOT alone! Happy Easter to you!
Gorgeous cards. I love the technique that you used.
I put my scraps into a pile until I get around to sorting them into my hanging file folders by color. I had an extra file cabinet and folders that I reused.
Hi. Sounds like a good idea. Oh for the luxury of a little more space.
Fabulous as always, love both, great techniques.
just perfect cards...would be great for small kiddos to make cards
What great easy cards! I never thought of using a marker to get a faux layer or using scraps for dimension when piled up! This is going to save me so much money! I have piles of scraps that get moved from one pile to another! I have taken files and color coded them. Now my scraps go into the appropriate file to store and stay organized! I just put general colors- red, light blue, dark blue, purple, hot pink, soft pink...
So quick and easy but oh so lovely ..
Great cards from scratch Natasha. You always bring inspiration to us. I really like them both but my favourite colour is turquoise blue so I will say the first card is my favourite. From Canada 🇨🇦 Jo
Cute cards and very imaginative. Thank you.
Those turned out really nice. Great job!!!
Both cards are very effective just with clever backgrounds. Yes to shuffling scraps!
Great 💡 ideas! Thank you, your videos give my spirits a needed lift. ❤ VR in Monroe, Washington
What lovely cards. I, like you, love the yellow and white one. When you added the greenery it made the card truly pop. Thanks for all your fabulous ideas! Your talent is awesome!
Love the checkerboard background & completed card! You always inspire me!!❤️
Great techniques yet again. And yes I do move things around on my desk and in my craft room instead of using them :) But have been changing that lately and now using more and more of my odd bits and ends. :)
So funny yes I shuffle bits around my desk and my desk is very small so keeping it cleared off is important. I love the technique you used on both cards. I hope to be able to store it in my brain and use it randomly as needed. As usual a great video and thank YOU so much. Have a lovely day. 🌺
Amazing. I'm always trying to do too many techniques on a card. Sometimes, probably most times, I need to use minimal supplies and techniques and make more cards. Thanks for this insight.
So simple and so fabulous!!
Indeed, constantly moving piles of cut outs etc. Also have a plan which changes regularly !!
Hi Natasha, beautiful cards! thank you for sharing 💕💐❤️
Yes I do shuffle things around on my desk; all the time. I also shuffle things around in my house. Great cards! Sometimes it’s nice to use just basic supplies. I used to have so much fun making cards and book-markers from old greeting cards. I used scissors and Elmer’s glue applied with a toothpick. It was great.
I have just tidied up all my scraps, cutting off die cut edges and bagging up into zippy bags. Very satisfying and much easier to use !
Oh why didn't I think of that! I've also been sorting out scraps and figured keeping all the wee bits in a box would 'do for now' but your idea of zip bags is perfect. Thank you!
@@h.5226 you’re welcome !
@Sue Galley @H. OMG..I'm not alone!! 😳 I had all my die cuts, backgrounds etc in zip bags ready to use...but then I found myself spending ages looking through them to find what I needed (and then often getting side tracked by something else entirely!)...lol.
I've just finished organizing them all into coin pocket pages in some folders. Don't laugh but I think I emptied at least 50 odd baggies!! Can you tell that I love die cutting? 🤣
I guess time will tell if this system helps me to use them all up or not! It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who does these things!
Hi. Yes. I do that, too. The problem is that I have so many of these bags about that when I tidy up I forget where I put them. I'm not at all sure I could organise a party in a brewery!
Oh yes. I love those. Especially the yellow one.! Genius! Those pens look very juicy. And it's not just me who moves my piles around and then back again...?? thank goodness! That's made me feel heaps better! Thank you for sharing your awesomeness yet again. Xx
Beautiful cards once again…
I love this card. Very bold.
Wow! Popping that yellow front onto the white base really did make a huge difference! Love these! 😊
Hi. Both of these cards are lovely and so very versatile that I couldn't choose a favourite between them. I am forever trying to find a way to get things organised and end up with bags, tubs, folders and boxes all over the place so that nothing is where I thought it would be. Shuffle mania lives in our house. Over the past week or so I have been trying to use up as many bits and pieces that I have come across in order to gain a little more control besides some extra space. Thank you for sharing these great cards.
Very attractive cards without too much fuss. I love that leaf canopy stamp and die and I finally have! It will be worked to death as between postage, customs and taxes it was far too costly but it is probably the best leaf on the market.
Your little boy is a sunshine I'm sure and yellow is a great colour. 🌻🌻
Happy Easter to you and your family!
I love these 2 cards..I can do that! I think 🤔
Love it Thank you.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two winners yet again! Xx
Very artfully done , great cards
Such videos gave me the courage to explore card making and thanks to you I love it now. Kudos to you where it make it look simple yet gorgeous cards
I used to draw those checkered backgrounds as a kid, a lot. I love to see this now as a background and I am definitely going to use it now for cards. Thanks, great tutorial 👍
Wow amazing 💝 beauty full card.
Lovely bright and beautiful card tfs x
Thank you for sharing your videos ❤️
love watching your videos
I love that you used the same stamp from another recent video - I bought the stamp thinking how versatile it is and now you showed me more options. Thank you very much!!!
Are you thinking of the Leaf Canopy stamp set? Or The spotlight sayings one? All 3 of the stamp sets that I used in this video, I have used in probably 10 plus videos on my channel, so have a peek!
@@NatashaFooteCreative Leaf Clusters by Altenew. And I will. Thanks!
Great cards, simple but so effective x
Love these cards! Gorgeous.
Super lovely cards!!
Love what you did with these cards…..I still haven’t gotten the leaf canopy die and stamp set, but I absolutely love it!!!
Those cards are so cool.
Wonderful cards, great ideas 🥰
Happy Easter to you and your family Natasha🐰 Two very useful background techniques and two fabulously simple cards - love them both. I too am a 'scraps shuffler' - keeping them all in the hope that one day they will be used!!🌻🌻
All the time you’re not alone
Love these cards
I love your cards but that yellow 💛 one is great
The yellow card makes me think picnic. I guess because we had a yellow and white tablecloth similar to that.
2 lovely cards xx
Beautiful cards
Wow just wow
Fantastic cards! And perfect timing. I have a use for such a quick, easy, colourful technique in mind already. Thanks for the inspiration.
Beautiful cards 🤩🤩🤩
So cute and simple!!
