Thank you for sharing your valuable experience, It must be really a surprising thing to see evolve. Japan has really produced unique cultural creations of universal value that are appreciated around the globe. What an interesting world we live in 😊
was there at the Paris sold-out concert 2 days ago, Oh how lovely it was ❤
Glad you could enjoy it! It's truly a memorable experience.
This music was with me everyday while I was writing my masters thesis. Couldn't have done it without you guys! 6 years later, it's still my favorite soundtrack for work.
Thanks for your comment and for sharing your story! It's amazing what music can do. Glad it helped you like that, and well done on completing your thesis. Congrats!
I hope you can someday.
I still can't believe I'm going to a Joe Hisaishi concert (in Paris). I'm 18, turning 19 in January, and I grew up with Studio Ghibli movies, and therefore with Joe Hisaishi's music. A dream that is about to come true, thank you for sharing this concert !
That's amazing, thanks for sharing your feelings! Truly a dream, hope you can enjoy looking forward to it and then the concert itself. Glad this video brought you a bit closer to that! And happy birthday in advance
@@walkmetothemoon thank you 🥺
I can't wait to see him in Paris, next April 06. ❤
Hope you enjoyed the concert in Paris!
A shout out to the performers who were the BBC Concert Orchestra led by Nathaniel Anderson-Frank, and who played the violin solo in Mother's Broom. The soprano soloists were Ella Taylor and Grace Davidson. The mandolin player was Simon Mayor. The choir was Crouch End Festival Chorus.
Great information, thanks a lot for sharing it. I had already credited the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Crouch End Festival Chorus in the description, but not the soloists/performers. I've added their names now as well.
What a beautiful what to express it. Thank you for commenting with your feelings.
Saw it in Paris, memories for life.
It's really a unique experience. Glad you could enjoy it like that.
London was magical

Exactly. So inspired and magical. What a gift to the world.
So true. For example, in this performance, Kimi wo Nosete doesn't have a string section.
i was there and it was so incredibly magical, moving and beautiful! felt like a dream 🥹🤍✨
I agree! It was such a magical moment, more so after postponing it twice. Glad that you enjoyed it and experienced it so intensely ✨
By the way, just listening to your videos. What an amazing voice you have!
Going to madison square garden this summer to see this. I couldn't find the programme anywhere so I'm glad I found this video ! So excited !!!
Me too! I'm going to New York City Madison Square Garden on Saturday July 13. When are you going? 😄
Glad the video helped! Must be so exciting to feel the anticipation now ahead of the concert. Hope you enjoy it as much as possible!
70+ years old man joe hisaishi is a legend ❤️😭
Right! So full of energy.
this concert was a dream come true -so happy I had the chance to be there
Glad you were able to live and enjoy such a meaningful event!
lucky! 🎉
Excited to see Him and the Orchestra in Germany on 2024! thank you for the vid!
You're welcome. And thanks for your comment! I hope seeing him next year is a memorable experience for you!
24:50 man I love listening back to this one, their singing was breath-taking during the concert I remember they got such a big applause 😁 I wish I recorded the whole part myself it's nice to see the whole thing here!
I agree, both singers were great! Such a unique experience, this concert. Thanks for sharing your impressions, and glad that you can re-watch it and enjoy it here even though you didn't record it 😄
When Mera-san, the original singer, was recording this with Joe Hisaishi, he was told by Director Miyazaki, that this was a feeling of Ashitaka towards San, so he shouldn’t be “singing.”
They were at the Paris concert too and it was so beautiful. I'm glad I can watch them again here!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful comment with how Hisaishi's music makes you feel.
So glad that you enjoyed seeing this even if you couldn't get a ticket. Hope you get the chance to see this concert in person someday.
Hisaishi's music is special. He's a great composer.
To the person reading this, Good Luck! Don't stress, everything will be fine. No matter what difficulty you are facing right now, you can overcome it! You are strong and brave
thank you 🤩
GRACIAS! 😘🎶❤️👍🏼
Beautiful..I watched most of the anime movies with my adult daughter who is a physician and we both love the music..thank you.
You're welcome. Thank you for sharing your story, I'm glad this made for an enjoyable moment of something you and your daughter appreciate so much.
A stunning performance of Joe Hisaishi's symphonic concert featuring the music from Studio Ghibli films. Watching this in London must have been an incredible experience! 🎶🎻
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It really was an incredible experience. I'm so glad that through CZcams it can reach and move people who were not able to attend the concert in person.
London people really received hisaishi san well.the orchestra was better than in USA.
Interesting that there was a noticeable difference. It was really a beautiful evening.
Thanks... Thanks... Fantastic and magic... 😂😂😂😂😂
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it =)
The crackling record effect at the start of One Summer's Day is so perfect.
Some sound effects really become part of the music sometimes.
Thank you very much to this video
You're welcome. Glad you can enjoy it.
I wish we all we’re living in these beautiful moral upright society
It's nice to see that kind of world exists, even if on fiction.
We couldn't see the screen when we were singing, so didn't realise how it synced up. This looks very good.
It was a great combination. Glad the video helped you see it from the other side.
Were you in the chorus? Wow!! it is a tremendous experience.
@@ajk9087Yes. It was a pleasure to sing for such an enthusiastic crowd.
When I hear the melody all of my childhood was alive , serene atmosphere🎉
Beautiful, thanks for sharing how it makes you feel.
Exquisite
I agree!
So exquisite!
Thanks for your comment!
THIS IS PURE MAGIC ❤❤❤
Completely agree!
❤ Best evening ever!…. Waited since 2020 for this (due to Covid, then Joe contracting Covid last year)… worth every VIP ticket penny😊. Videoed most of it myself right in front of the Orchestra 😁. A night I’ll never forget, amazing hearing the songs live, seeing Joe and the singers were amazing too. Full credit to the female who also sang in Japanese…. Stunning voice. I’ll treasure the memories and pics/videos I have. If you’re a fan then go see him live, he’s touring right now. ❤
Such a heartfelt comment, thanks for sharing your experience! I'm really glad you could enjoy it so much, and from such a privileged position in VIP area. Definitely a unique experience to live in your life and treasure forever.
Suuuuper delightful fans, keep up be strong & let only good music caress your hearts ❤🎉❤
Beautiful comment. Thank you for such wonderful wishes, and back to you as well.
Music is power🎶❣️
favorite part 1:03:07 howl's moving castle
There are so much highlights!
(very nice, but it doesn't compare to the 25th anniversary version, which in my opinion remains unbeatable)
Will need to revisit that version. Thanks for the comment.
Indeed! Glad you enjoyed too. Thanks for your comment.
Solo Nausicaa me gusto.
I got tickets for next year concert!! So is it okay to record? Or you mostly have to record hiding? Of course I want to enjoy it peacefully but I want to have some memories of it. So just wondering if it's allowed or just based on the venue
I would say it depends on the venue. In this case, there were plenty of people recording very explicitly and it was not an issue. But definitely check with your venue.
Also the great thing about CZcams is that it recognises the music and the copyright owner can remove the video if they wish. Even if they don't, any revenue generated by the video goes to the copyright owner (and to CZcams), so that makes it awesome for the author as well, as the can benefit from the views and still have the choice to remove it if they want to.
Really memorable!
cuándo vendrá a México?
K Love It.Kiiiiiitos!!!
Glad you do! Thanks for your comment!
Thank you for the present (((o(*▽*)o)))
Thanks for your comment! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Just one week to got until I see the concert live in Munich❤ I don’t want to cry but I probably will a couple of times😂
Hope you enjoy it! I'd say embrace crying or whatever feelings you have during the performance.
👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
This version of ghibli not my fav ... still the paris 2011 ghibli concert the BEST !!!
Will need to listen to that one as well. Thanks.
40:23 Ponyo Theme
May I ask the ticket price?
That particular seat was £57.25. Other tickets ranged from I believe around £40 to £160 or so.
I am wondering where the concert was held. If someone know that, pls tell me of its name...🎵
It was at the OVO Arena Wembley in London.
@@walkmetothemoon
Thanks, thanks a lot.
It's definitely a great choice of theme to close the concert.
what movie is the song that plays at 1:31:18?
Madness (from 'Porco Rosso').
@@walkmetothemoon thank you so much ! 🙏🏼

original in japan was way better quality
Thanks for your comment. The one in Japan must have been great. In what sense was it better quality? The performance? The setlist?
cool story bro 👍
@@walkmetothemoon i was there in London. The setlist was (almost) identical (e.g. piece from the new movie missing). The vocals were far less people (and no children present), making songs like "carrying you" a bit less amazing. Also, the people that marched in during the Budokan concert were missing. Nevertheless, the concert was breathtaking.
@@rasuibgruibguisThanks for sharing the details. That's interesting to know. I missed the strings in "Carrying you", but there's a peculiar version of it. Great concert anyway as you said.
Customer manners are too bad. Why come to a concert if you don't feel like listening to music? The level of civility is too low.
Nahh, they just british
almost as bad as people that come to comment rudely on videos they don't enjoy.
I don't understand your point of view. Also, your heart is narrow.
