Things To Do On International Drive | A Trip To Dave & Buster's Arcade Game Room Sports Bar!

- In today's vlog we head to International Drive, IDrive, for some Dave & Buster's Arcade fun!! We tried our luck at coin pushers, air hockey, mega drop, skee ball, pop a shot basketball and more! We took a look at the prize room gift shop, honestly the prizes are outrageously priced as far as how many tickets you need to win them but it was still a good time playing all the games and hanging out with friends. They even had a VR game where you can choose from, Jurassic World, MIB, Star Trek and a Dragon game. It looked pretty fun but it was an extra $7 charge per person. Then we headed over to the restaurant area and had a quick bite, the food was just okay, it's basically bar food, so we had appetizers and burgers. All in all we spent way too much money on games but we had an awesome time with friends and I'm sure we'll be back to spend our tickets in the prize room! This was so fun to watch! Haha! We go to Dave and Busters quite often and once you learn the games it gets much easier to figure out how to make the most of your credits! We even profit off of Dave and Busters by selling the prizes :) good stuff! Thanks for sharing :)

I’ve been watching you guys nearly everyday for four years. I have pretty much grown from a teenager to an adult with you, this is about to get super sappy, when I discovered you guys I had just got diagnosed with chronic depression. It was a super dark time in my life, and you guys became my escape. Since I have started watching I have lost my aunt and uncle, and I got out of a very long term relationship. Every time something upsetting or stressful happens in my life I bundle myself up in a blanket and binge watch you guys until I feel better, it has really helped me from slipping deep into depression, or having panic attacks. I wanted to write a letter thanking you guys, but since the P.O. box is closed, I will thank you through the comments. I just want you guys to know that you truly make such a huge impact on my life, and I feel almost as if you are my friends. Thank you for all that you do, and thank you for being there for me when no one else is. I know I can always turn to you guys when I feel alone. This comment is way to long but you deserve to know how much you mean. I truly love your videos and I appreciate that I have y’all as a ray of sunshine in my life. My son and I saw Tim at Universal on Wednesday (at faucet next to Krusty Burger) and said a quick hello, my wife stayed back with our things. She was sad to have missed him (she watches you guys all the time). However, she got to say hello to Tim and Jenn outside Pirates on Friday night. 50 points for my son and I, but my wife scored 100 for spotting both Trackers :-)

Keep being kids!! My friend and I went to D&B and we had a blast. We had many strange looks because all we could do is laugh and compete with each other.
you guys looked like having so much fun for playing arcade for the first time! :)
so to explain it:
1. the coin pusher with cards. you need to invest in it. because you want to get cards. each card have value in tickets, but if you complete the whole set, it will give you huge amount of tickets (easily few thousands). but the catch is that there is one card that is the rarest. you need to know the card so you can hunt it. if it is in the machine, you got to play it and get it
2. the sound on air hokey was there as far as I remember playing it (at least like 20 years ago)
3. the clown one, the one you hit it with balls, you need to hit the upper part, middle and lastly, bottom. because the upper one give the most points.
4. monster jackpot extreme, what is monster jackpot? it is the one you shown at the start of the machine, it is the upper part that shown 1002 tickets. normal jackpot is the one on top of the bonus balls, 254 tickets. you need an extreme luck to get the monster jackpot though
5. the one with saw and baloon, you need to increase the air inside of the balloon to hit the saw and pop it. this machine usually hand out dolls if you pop the balloon, so no tickets you can win out of it. and from what I see, it was a very small baloon, you need easily 50 tries? or maybe more to make it large enough to reach the saw. another option is insta pop

A great tip would be to play the games first. Dave and Buster's allows you to turn in your tickets for different menu items. So my wife and I would go play a bunch of games (coin pushers are our weakness) and use the tickets to pay for your food. That way we save some money on our date night!

Pro Tip:
Play on Wednesdays. All games are half price at participating D&B.
Download the D&B app, they occasionally send offers prior to Tuesdays for buy $20 in chips get $20 chips free.
Combine that offer with half price Wednesdays, and you get a ton more play for your buck.

Another comment, I highly recommend The Crane Couple videos. They put out there per week, traveling and playing games. Earlier this year they made their third trip to Japan. I love their interaction, it's like yours. They are kind, with some minor teasing. Some of the other couples video channels are grating.

When ever I see those prize games I now think of bob's burgers where the kids try to win a mini car! (and those games are like playing modern slot machines you quickly lose track of how much money you are spending/losing)

I have some tips and tricks to get most out of your experience at Dave and Buster’s.
On Wednesdays, all of the games are half priced. So if a game costs 10.5 chips, it’ll be 5.2 chips on Wednesday. That way, you can play more for less money.
If you’re going with the intent to win a lot of tickets, the best games, in my opinion, that pay out the most tickets are the coin pushers, Big Bass Wheel, and Yahtzee.

Dave and busters is nice, but I think Florida is getting some round one amusements in the future. These arcades are great with the latest games in arcades, and ufo catchers (crane games) that have some great prizes. Not to mention bowling, darts, billiards, ping pong, and karaoke. The prize area to redeem tickets is also great. You can get some nice stuff even for just 300 tickets. I know that Dave and busters for 300 tickets you get come cheapo stuff. Game works is also nice.
Our last day here in Orlando. We have been watching out for you everywhere we went but alas, we didn't meet you. Huge disappointment but we still had a great time. We went to MNSSHP last night (first one of 2019) having watched and loved your video of last year's one. Picked up lots of hints and tips from you both. We will continue to watch you even now that our holiday is over and look forward to hearing about all your adventures and of course baby Tracker. Xx

2 good things I love arcade vids and arcade vids
Actually the two things I watch most on youtube: the Trackers and arcade videos. It's a small world after all.
I love Dave and Busters. I suggest to go earlier in the day when it is usually less crowded. Some D&B's have an "Eat and PLay" promotion where you get an entree and power card with chips on it for one price. I agree that it can be pricey. But my wife and I feel like it similar to going to the casino. We set a dollar amount we want to spend and stick to it. Once the chips run out for game we are done.
I loved this video so much. You guys work so hard to consistently put out great content that it’s nice to see you guys just having a good time and enjoying yourselves!

I don't have a D&B by me, but a bowling alley/entertainment zone right down the street from me, and about 90% of these games were the same as what we have in our arcade zone. I was just there recently, so it felt just a bit like I was there with you, since I literally played those same games a few weeks ago lol
And yes, Tim you are exactly right. You may not be paying for merch or good quality prizes, but you're paying for the entertainment and joy of playing. That's how I look at it at least. Have that mindset and the price doesn't bother you as much.

Her and her friend who's the mother of the two boys were supposed to come down last week. Didn't make it, but now I can tell her what there is to do because I'm pretty sure she's going to come down in maybe Spring? I mostly do Disney parks or Disney Springs, so I wasn't sure lol. I've been there twice and eaten there once. Haven't gotten a chance to play the games there though, but may be back soon. My first D&B experience was in Panama City Beach where I used to live and it was fun. I still have the tickets I've earned!
In case anyone is wondering, when I used to work at Dave & Busters, Big Bass Wheel used to make $10k a week on every single machine we had. We had 3 or 4.
